Hi Shamsuannahr - you can update the spreadsheet for us (candab) - we received notice from the visa office that the passport is ready with the visa.


Also - I have a question... does anyone have any advice of what we should be doing in regards to translating and notarizing high school certificates and driver's license to be accepted in Canada.... any info would be VERY helpful! thanks,

Although I'm applying in a different stream but what u said is totally true
We missed this year train so most probably see in next march I don't think we will hear anything before that
But may be this is Cairo visa office applicant's destiny
So enjoy the stay in Egypt for the next few months to the max
Because seems that Canada will not be in the horizon until next year
And hope for the best

you guys we still have atleast 20 days before their holiday starts!!!! inshallah we all get some good news before the year is over

Dear Experts and friends,

I've just happily and excitedly received PR e-mail today in which they requested the PP and the photos but they didn't mention anything about the RPRF at all....

Is it normal?? Or should I reply to their e-mail enquiring about the payment procedures and amount?? or I should follow the Embassy of Canada to Cairo web site procedures directly??

Hi guys, my husband's medical will expire on Jan 5th. When do you recommend we re-do it? Should we wait for the VO to contact us, or should we just go ahead and do it as soon as it expires? Should we send it to CPP-Ottawa? Or are the results sent wherever they're supposed to go automatically?

I think it's better to wait for their request...since they could extend it (I believe the extension is new)

I have the same issue my medicals will expire on the 5th of jan as well. I sent the cpp-o an email and asked them the same question as yours they told me to wait and not to do anything unitl they ask me to do so! Btw whats your ecase saying ? Mine been application received since ever.
