I donot think u should do anything. Just wait for them to contact you. If an interview is required it has to be conducted

in the email of interview they didnt tell which reasons they will interview yo for
did you order caips and if so what they said there because inside my caips or GSCM they telling me they required an interview

Interview is usually to check marriage genuineness. The red flags are typically:

Different social status/culture/origin/religion/country,
previous relationships or divorce on either side,
lack of compatibility,
significant age gap especially on the wife side,
short per-marriage courtship especially if your marriage is not family-arranged,
lack of marriage publicity (e.g. did not do marriage ceremony/wedding or your marriage ceremony/wedding was not attended by your close family members),
sparse photos.
lack of continuation of contact
lack of financial interdependence between the couple
Hastened marriage
lack of cohabitation or marriage consummation.

If you have any of the above concerns, you should have written a detailed narrative statement addressing all these concerns and enclose it with the application so that the immigration officer understands the reasons of these things. By doing so, I was able to waive the interview. The ground of refusal in interview is usually based on LACK OF KNOWLEDGE OF THE PERSON BEING SPONSORED WITH THE SPONSOR. Therefore, prepare for the interview very well by knowing all the details about your sponsor.

you and your spouse is from Gaza stirick it sound so good that you got approved for sponsorship in may 25 and now you got your visa may be because you and your wife are from from same country so its not about your letter that you wrote or the information and the concerns of immigration officer that you killed by your writing letter because the r some poeple who being for much long ago together and they r same religion origin and social status/culture/origin/religion/country and may be same age or closer but they been interview i read the majority of your posts and thank you very much for your advice its so much goood thank you again and milion bilion Mabrook for you and your spouse

Hi everybody,

I just wanted to point out some encouraging statistics from the spreadsheet:

Sponsorship approvals in 2012 - total # of days from filing app with Mississauga to visa issuance:
Mels: 567
louisa: 346
taqy: 263
bondar: 230
adam86: 151-180
mr. x: 244
abdoon: 179
nubin: 198

Average TOTAL time, (not including Mels, because she seems unusually long): approx 232 days, or 7 months and 3 weeks

..which is much much better than the ~2-3 months application to sponsor + 15 month visa office processing posted times!!

Looking at the above stats, it also seems like (on average) the total number of days til visa issuance may be decreasing over time.

Best of luck to those still waiting!!!

p.s. habone, fadi pal, mrs kandil, liza90, mish29.. any updates?
