my MP just forward me the email that the Cairo office sent to them,





could you please tell me if they start to process it or not
really am confused
i cant understand what did they mean !!!!

you should order your GCM notes ... the date thing is a lie and the approval is not based on the dates, a lot of ppl got their visa before me and they have applied months after

Another ques pls my husband recieved an approval letter from mississauga last week for step 1(eligible to be a sponsor)
When can i recieve something from cairo office ?will they send me an AOR?

We did not receive an AOR from cairo. We heard nothing from Cairo for 13 months until they asked us for additional documents.

Oh no dont say. What about the application status i have theUCI do they change the status?now our status is aplication recieved and medical recieved.i read that status change every tuesday is this right?

The application status is supposed to be updated on Tuesdays but this doesn't mean you will see a change in your status every week.
Our ecas status was updated in Nov 2012 to application received but did not change to "in Process" until Nov 2013

GCM notes are not mandatory but they can help you understand what is going on with your file.

If you have just recently applied I dont see much point in ordering the notes yet as I dont think there will be much to see but that is a personal choice. I just ordered our notes for the first time a month ago (after our file went in process). I believe there are a few ppl here who have requested them several times. I know I will request them again in Feb if we dont have an interview or visa by then.

Thank u for your reply. Do you mean that u can order them and see whats on it but after that u have to order/pay for them again to see any new updates? My application was in process as of Oct 29,2013. They havr noted under my UCI file only that they have received the medicals. So do the GCM notes have anything different from what the website shows?

Yes you would have to order and pay each time to see any updates ($5).

The GCM notes are different from what you see on the website. They are the actual notes of the Visa Officer handling your file. Is it the sponsor part of your app that is in process or the PA's part? If they are processing the PA's part of the app you can always order the notes to see what is happening, if its the sponsor part i would wait unless they refuse the sponsorship.

Thank you again. I am the sponsor and i have been approved. The principal applicant ( my husband ) application is in process. Im so sorry but one more question, do they mail these notes or emAil them ? I will give it a go and see whats up i would just like to know the method provided for review. Please and thank u.

They will mail or email them, it's your choice. I had mine emailed, you get them faster. The option is on the form you fill out.
