My wife called the number and alhumdllah the woman answered her my wife and told her our application was send to Cairo but not from long time too
But what does this mean guys ?

I think that mean the files transferred to issuing the visa that's the final step but may be Cairo visa ask to redo medical exam or ask other papers
We r all in same time mine received march 2nd and AOR June 27th

After many attempts, one CIC phone agent told me My file was transfered to Cairo in late January 2013. It seems as in ATIP they don't wish to provide you with recent information!!

thats mean that they sent file to make Cairo visa office doing their role like security check medical check( mean receiving the medical results the background check plus if there interview recommended and Cairo visa office doesnt follow any time because they only do what they think its right
my file has been transefered from Ottawa since last June , 2012 until now i still put my hand on my cheek hahahha

guys.. just to be clear.. most of the files were transferred from Ottawa on January 24th.. and that doesn't necessarily mean that it's the final step.. it does only mean that the pilot project in Ottawa for the Cairo visa office files has just ended

just for an update guys.. my wife received the passport yesterday with the visa on it .. so it's the end of the long road for me..so thank you all very much for your help and encouragement, i really think that this topic helped me a lot to survive during this difficult and long waiting time i really wish you all good luck and hopethat the suffering will end so soon.
