First thanks for responding to my question. here is more informations about my caseMadeInCanada said:I am a little confused so I am going to write what I think you are saying :
Application sent 28th August (2012?)
Both you and your spouse are in Canada
You applied but didn't get your originals stamped? (If they do not accept them they will ask for new ones.)
Have you received AOR?
I am unsure as to Cairo even having anything to do with your application as you are applying in land, or did you choose outland?
It depends on inland or outland, but I believe no apps get sent to Toronto. Do you mean Mississauga?
I think it is unlikely for the MP to be helpful, if your still under the processing time(which you are). Which will depend on how you applied(inland or outland).
Give some more info and people here can help
There are still many people having issues with ECAS. You are not the only one to see DM for the sponsorship go to "in process". Try not to worry too much. I am sure everything is fine!Dr Eng X said:What should be the status of the sponsorship application!!! I don't remember any more
I think it used to be at 1 point decision made!!! but now it is in process
From what I have read from OPs it is best to leave things be, if they require new documents they will ask for them. That being said I am all about being prepared. If it is not a big deal go gather the documents and take them for authentication (getting stamped @ ministry of foreign affairs). That way if you need them you have them, if not then oh well you simply have extra documents. No harm done.Ragga said:First thanks for responding to my question. here is more informations about my case
Application received by the CIC on august 28th.
We are applying outland. currently we both in Cairo we been here for over a year now. wife going back and forth but most of the time she is here because we just got a newborn baby girl. we used to live there together for more than 2 years.
Yes we received AOR.
Medical results was done on May 2012.
You are right I think the application sent to Mississauga I wasn't that sure as all the process was done by a lawyer.
My concern is can I redo the papers again and send them now to save some time ?
which is better adding the newborn baby to my application or just apply for canadian passport for her ?
we also mentioned my wife pregnancy in the application.
I was told that adding her to the app might make the process time faster.
Thanks again for your help
As far as I know ..mine didn't go on 24th bundleMadeInCanada said:There are still many people having issues with ECAS. You are not the only one to see DM for the sponsorship go to "in process". Try not to worry too much. I am sure everything is fine!
I would assume your file is one of the bundle sent on the 24th. In Sha2 ALLAH You will hear something soon.

I don't know or understand how or why it is so unorganized. AOR should be sent automatically. It is pretty annoying not knowing what is going on with your application. I still do not know where our file is for sure either. Last I heard it was sitting in Missisauga. But could very well have been sent to Ottawa or Cairo....Dr Eng X said:As far as I know ..mine didn't go on 24th bundle
No logic, no rules, no reasoning, no efficiency, ...MadeInCanada said:I don't know or understand how or why it is so unorganized. AOR should be sent automatically. Really frustrating for you I am sure, you have been waiting for a very long time. I hope you will hear something soon.

I do not know how long you have been away from your spouse(wife I believe) but I can tell you I do understand. I am going through it as well. I have not seen my husband in over a year. You have been waiting for a year so, the way I see it, a year without the one you love is a year (feels like a million life times..). I am confident that I can say I understand how you feel.Dr Eng X said:No logic, no rules, no reasoning, no efficiency, ...
It is hard to understand till you go through the experience yourself, consider your frustration and multiply it by the time we had to go through it all!!
You can't understand a person until you have walked a mile in their shoes
Good luck
Please take it with a sense of humor;MadeInCanada said:I do not know how long you have been away from your spouse(wife I believe) but I can tell you I do understand. I am going through it as well. I'd say "our shoes" are damn near identical...

Hey Dr Eng X!Dr Eng X said:Please take it with a sense of humor;
I do not mean it in the sense of a contest who has been through much more pain or frustration ... I know you are a fighter! You might win the contest verbally ... on your bright side you did not wait for 3months to receive the approval for 1st stage
Also, I do not mean it in the sense of undermining you or recent applicants...but I wanted to tell you...if that is your frustration feelings then multiply it by the number of hours or minutes...

Now and being serious
I meant you can understand more as you have started to go more deep through the process

No worries, I think we are both understanding perfectly what the other meant. I did not take anything you said negatively.
I too was trying to add humor with the "our shoes" comment... Its a laugh or cry and feel miserable situation, as I am sure you know. You have been coping with it longer, I feel for you and all the others waiting for so long.
