We are applying outland. currently we both in Cairo we been here for over a year now. wife going back and forth but most of the time she is here because we just got a newborn baby girl. we used to live there together for more than 2 years.
Yes we received AOR.
Medical results was done on May 2012.
You are right I think the application sent to Mississauga I wasn't that sure as all the process was done by a lawyer.
My concern is can I redo the papers again and send them now to save some time ?
which is better adding the newborn baby to my application or just apply for canadian passport for her ?
we also mentioned my wife pregnancy in the application.
I was told that adding her to the app might make the process time faster.

There are still many people having issues with ECAS. You are not the only one to see DM for the sponsorship go to "in process". Try not to worry too much. I am sure everything is fine!Dr Eng X said:

From what I have read from OPs it is best to leave things be, if they require new documents they will ask for them. That being said I am all about being prepared. If it is not a big deal go gather the documents and take them for authentication (getting stamped @ ministry of foreign affairs). That way if you need them you have them, if not then oh well you simply have extra documents. With regards to your baby. Congrats! I read that your wife holds Canadian Citizenship, so your baby is Canadian. All you need to do is submit an application for her Citizenship, when you send it in show proof of your application for PR and let them know that you would feel uncomfortable should you be in Canada and your daughter need medical attention, and that since both you and your wife will have legal status (you will have PR, your wife is a Citizen) that you would prefer your daughter not be on a TRV (visit visa). With that you can then request priority processing of the Citizenship.
I do not think that adding papers to your application will make anything faster nor adding your daughter. It will cause a delay.
Since you applied in August, I think you still have plenty of time to get everything done. (I hate to say it) I am sure you are very eager to return to Canada, but they seem to be just working on applications from Jan/Feb of 2012.

I don't know or understand how or why it is so unorganized. AOR should be sent automatically. It is pretty annoying not knowing what is going on with your application. I still do not know where our file is for sure either. Last I heard it was sitting in Missisauga. But could very well have been sent to Ottawa or Cairo....Dr Eng X said:

I do not know how long you have been away from your spouse(wife I believe) but I can tell you I do understand. I am going through it as well. I have not seen my husband in over a year. You have been waiting for a year so, the way I see it, a year without the one you love is a year (feels like a million life times..). No worries, I think we are both understanding perfectly what the other meant. I did not take anything you said negatively.
I know that so far "the process" has been fast for us(my husband and I). I can only hope that it will continue at that pace.
I too was trying to add humor with the "our shoes" comment... Its a laugh or cry and feel miserable situation, as I am sure you know. You have been coping with it longer, I feel for you and all the others waiting for so long.
I really hope that things will get moving for you, and I know you did not mean to come across as though you were undermining me or anyone else. (I did not see it that way) ;D
I think sometimes my wording can come off as abrasive, and I REALLY do not mean it too!
