Has anyone started an October 2017 Citizenship tracking thread and public tracking spreadsheet?

I guess Q11 is still most controversial question,
Name of Contact- if my supervisor has changed his/her company whose name should I provide?, what should I write as email address?,
IRCC should have clarified this in Instruction guide.
Where were you physically located?- Home address or company address?

Hello Spyfy,

I got my records from the USA I94 website https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/#/home and it differs from my actual date of travel. I always made sure I left for USA by car and came back to Canada within same day, but it seems the USA i94 website most made it look like I stayed one day and came back the next day. Around 10 to 12 entries are incorrect or with an extra day, although I am safe as I have stayed more then 3 years, but should i enter the dates in the calculator as per the I94 website, or as per my records the actual ones?

Hello everyone, I have a question regarding the employment/education history. If I was sick and took a leave from work for 3 months, should I mention it as well? Technically I was still an employee and still had a job. I don't know if it's worth mentioning or not. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

In section 7 of the main application, it asked for "other phone number", should I fill it?
or i can also put "N/A"?

Simplest answer:

Send them a photocopy of your passport + a photocopy of your driver's license. PR card is not required.

No need to explain anything. You were continuously employed during that time and that's all they care about.

I am confused, if we have to put a tick mark for both Columns i.e Required to File and Taxes Filed ?

For each year such as 2016. if Taxes are Filed = Yes, What should I tick mark for Required to File Column for this year ? Looks like both columns needs an Answer?

Please clarify?

For 2012 I mark No for both columns..

I have another Q's on Immigration Status
Do I need to list USA Tourist Visa as immigration status ?
I did my education in USA (Year 2006-2011)...do I have to mention that under Immigration status and later it changed to Work Status (Year 2011-2013) then changed to Visitor Status? ..Please Clarify...does these have to be listed as Current or during Eligibility Period?

Well as always: I am not perfect and if the call centre people say to fill it one way, fill it that way.

But you don't need attendance letters etc. See document checklist.
Thanks, yes i will go with the check list and will call them again to make sure

I did like what teh agent told you. Some ppl commute fro Mississauga to Toronto Iwhy would they care about Toronto? They want to compare your address in Q10a, Q11 and the taxes you filled.
Again just call the IRCC to make sure this is the correct way. Im going to call them again to double check and see if i was given the right information for this section.

Hi, new to the forum here.

I have a question about the FBI security clearance, has anyone applied before receiving that certificate? Because , I am at school in the US now and by waiting I am actually losing days which will potential take me below the 1095 . I am seeing various estimates to get the FBI certificate. I am not a US citizen so cannot go through the channeler route.
