By when to shift to Canada so as to maintain PR status?

Hello everyone,

My wife and I, have PR cards of Canada and we had made our soft landing in October 2016. The PR card will expire on November 2021.

I would like to know the following:-

1) Latest by when do we need to move to Canada so as to meet the minimum requirement for staying in Canada so to maintain the PR card.

2) I guess, both of us need to fulfill separately the criterion for 'minimum stay'', in order to retain our PR status. Is that correct?

Please enlighten me on the above two points.

1. October 2019 and not leave for a day within the next 2 years.
2. Both have to meet the Residency requirements to maintain PR.

You'll have to renew your card after 2021. To get your citizenship .
