Yep. Once you go into your application it changes from updated back to submitted.

My theory is there is a back-end update (such as the application was moved into another stage within CIC that we can't see). I received a request for more information email just 1 week after my last 'updated' status change. I hope I get approval within the next week after my updated status today.

I actually received update email on 14th Nov. So even I am expecting some real update by end of day today. lets hope for good.

Make sure you login to MyCIC at least daily. Last year my application was approved (first was rejected, then approved - but that's another story) a day before I got an email about it.

I submitted my application online on the dames date, and still waiting. Hopefully I'll get an update next week.

Yes, I have received that message before, as well as "there are no new updates to your application".

I am PNP Alberta PR applicant (Nov 20 2014 Applicant). I applied for BOWP on Aug 20 2015 but my application got refused on Nov 23, 2015 stating that I have not received positive eligibility assessment on my application. I called CIC and asked them for a review, today after the review they again refused my application stating that for BOWP the requirement is that I meet and pass the eligibility assessment as well as receive a acknowledgement of receipt. I had received AOR and did attach it with the application but they did not accept it. My PR file is still pending for review after 1 year. I contact my area MP and his assistant bashed me with racist comments and stated that I should leave canada and canadians alone. I dont know how to deal with this current situation. My PGWP expires Dec 14, 2015

Did you go to the port of entry to apply for one? it says in the document that you can not apply for BOWP at the port of entry. I dont know wat to do in my situation.

I have applied on Aug 20th and still waiting and pushing my travel :-(

Mine is going to expire May 21, 2016.

I just sent a letter to my lawyer to ask explanations.
