Does anyone know what is the average time for background check to be completed? My application is being processed by Vienna Austria. Someones case took a month and 4 days for background check to be completed by the same embassy. Is it normal processing time? My travel dates are approaching so I am a bit anxious.

Is having valid US visa fasttracks this back groundcheck process?

Who does it? Local embassy or IRCC?

No... I have provided additional document for my Father service in Police... and Submitted June 2nd... Now waiting for it to be complete

I see everything as completed on tracker except background which is in progress. On IRCC portal only Medical has been updated so far. @Malaika’s query
