Buying Medical Insurance in advance will increase getting Visitor Visa

Hi Friends,

I am planning to buy a Medical insurance in advance before applying my Parents Visit Visa.
Please guide will this help. should i buy in advance or after getting visa?.

my father was a private employee in very small organisation now he is retired. no benefits from organisation.
we don't have any pension benefits/bank transactions. he was farmer earlier.i am sponsoring my parents travel.
what should i mention as my father profession Farmer or Private employee.?

yes you can provide as much as documents to get your visa approved .... its always advantage to provide more documents but make sure all your documents were notorized with affidavit ....it will help to increase your application strength

Mention his employment status at the time of his retirement

its always advantage to provide more documents but make sure all your documents were notorized with affidavit ....it will help to increase your application strength

Affidavits do not help.

Notarization is not required for India applications

Hi,

Buying overseas travel medical insurance policies doesn't assure a TRV approval. It only shows a well-thought out visit.

IMO, one should never travel anywhere abroad without travel medical insurance. It's scary to think of an emergency situation without insurance coverage.

You can buy a refundable, joint policy.... from an Indian/global insurance provider, in India,... for the exact dates of their trip.... and include this in their application.

Your parents must prove they have the finances + strong ties to India. IMO, your parents lack both of these.

Also as I had mentioned in your other thread.... that inviting your parents for the birth of your baby is a no-no from a TRV perspective.... it does not matter if they are elderly people who are visiting in winter. Your friends' parents' situations were different from yours. It's your choice though

this is what i am planning to mention in invite letter, i know you are suggesting not to mention anything related to birth but i am not mentioned any help here.
do you think this still an issue, sorry to ask you same question multiple times.

"I would like to invite my parents, xxx and xx, to visit us. They will stay with us in my apartment at the below mentioned address for two months. They will arrive on 1st December 2016 and leave on 1st Feb 2017. We are very excited to see our parents after a long duration (more than two years). This trip will give them an opportunity to see their grand child who is expected to be born in mid-January 2017 and spend quality time with us and visit the places around Calgary.

During their stay in Canada, I will bear all responsibilities including and not limited to financial obligations, return airfare from India to Calgary, medical insurance, housing and food.

I will personally make sure that they leave Canada before the expiration of their authorized stay. I have attached my employment, income and work permit documentation.

I would be grateful to you, if you could grant a multiple visitor’s visa to my parents."

related to my parents finacials " I have also prepared Networth document with CA and mentioning in a covering letter about my sisters staying back in india, my parents has many siblings and their extended families in india.

Hi,

1. Even if you do not mention the word "help", it is understood that your parents will take care of you/your baby. This means working illegally on a TRV. Hence, refusals are possible.

2. Two months is a long visit. You must keep their visit to 3-4 weeks max.

3. Are your sisters married? Do they live with your parents?


In fact, I would suggest that you apply only for one parent as your parents do not have any strong ties to India
