Buying an existing business - non Canadian

Hi ,

Does anybody know the procedure and likelihood of purchasing an existing business in Canada for a Non-Canadian?
I am from the UK and would like to effectively move out to Canada. My prospect is to own an existing business there.

Can someone help with the procedure or does anybody know if I can get a PR this way?

I would be a visitor with the intention to become PR.

If your aim is PR, you should be looking at starting a business rather than buying an existing one. Buying an existing one most likely won't get you PR. You should look into the Start Up immigration program for more information.
