Hello,
I am working as a BI Analyst for the last 3 years and while filling out my EE profile, I have put my NOC code as 2171. I have recently got my ITA and I am currently in the process of completing post ITA application. Can anyone who have applied in the same profession suggest me the correct NOC code. If I have to go with 2172 instead of 2171, do I have to decline my ITA and resubmit it with 2172? Please let me know

2171 - Information systems analysts and consultants
2172 - Database analysts and data administrators

Appreciate your inputs

You don't have to decline the ITA since both the codes are on the list. Just make sure that you explain the change in the LoE.

Could you please confirm if your application was successful. Does BIA have to apply with 2172?

Hi. I am also trying to determine what is the NOC code for BI analyst. Could you please help? I would really appreciate if you can indicate the code you used during your application. Thank you. Eagerly waiting to hear back from you.

No never got an answer to this question. Most other forums suggest using the same NOC as Business Analyst. What do you think about this? Thanks.
