Business after graduation

Hi,

I got graduated from an Ontario College in January, since that time I have been doing a web design business with clients in Canada and Australia. This Business is been operated and licensed since Jan 2013. I received my grad work permit in April and also got a full time job recently.

Will my business be counted for immigration purposes as a work experience (or) should I wait for 1 year before I apply for immigration????

The employment I am offered now is a 2year contract with potential to hire me as a full-time employee based on my status. I am confused whether this situation will make be eligible in Skilled worker Class

Depends on what sort of immigration you go for.
If CEC, work experience gained on an off campus work permit is invalid i.e. from jan 2013 to april 2013 it is not counted as eligible work experience. So you will need to wait until April 2014 to qualify for CEC
If FSW, one year work experience gained in skill level O, A or B accompanied by a valid job offer would help you qualify.
As you have graduated from an Ontario college you may also qualify for PNP.

Self-employment (i.e. your business) won't count for CEC either.

Thank you for the reply. I am trying to complete the generic application form(IMM 0008).

Question 1 : Program under which you are applying for??

I am planning to apply with my common-law partner as the co-applicant. So should I select Family or Economic (CEC or FSW)??? Need Help.

And also I am not sure whether I might be eligible for PNP from Ontario? beacuse I graduated from Ontario,licensed my business in British Columbia and currently got a job in Lethbridge college as a graphic designer ( as far as I am aware u need to graduate and work in Ontario to be eligible for PNP,If I am wrong please correct me !!!)
