What is your timeline? What I understand is the application processing in buffalo takes 12 months starting when they received it. That is for general information, Im not sure if that is applicable to all applicants regardless of NOC. If your application is too close to 12 months and your application is complete, your PPR will come soon but if your application is more than 12 months, you can send email to enquire regarding your status. I did the same way and it works, hope it can help for you too.

I received my IA last March 21. Do you have any idea how long it takes for a PPR? I have a friend wherein we both have our medicals done on the same day and she received PPR last March 7 and me a mail for initial assessment. I want to know any timeline since I have a daughter in the Philippines and I am hoping I can enroll her on September here in Canada. I'm a bit anxious already thinking if I will apply for a TRV so I can go home and pick her up so she can study here but I don't want to send an application for TRV then PPR will be on the way. All about timing and patience :(

Any suggestions?

Did u call buffalo to confirm o they send u and email. What I understand is your application didn't take up to 12 months about( 8 months) how did u pull this so fast? I m of same time with u. my application was received in buffalo on 15 June med done in nov I still haven't heard fr them did u send email to them for an enquiry before they confirm u hv been approved?thx

I send inquiries thru email, I send my application last june so its about 10 months now, and if they send you email regarding PPR, you have 2 months grace period to submit the passport. That means, 10 months + 2 months (grace period for PPR) = 12 months. For sure this month you will get something from them. Godluck!

Buffalo received my application August 2010 and medical done September 1. I received letter of initial assessment March 21. You stated on your other post that you need to submit your passport within 90 days after receiving PPR via email. Does applying for a TRV now a good idea? My daughter is in the Philippines. Can I apply her TRV in Buffalo too? Thanks a lot. I sent an email March 29 because I was on vacation. When I got back home yesterday that is when I learned that I had IA.

Does that mean that you may soon get your ppr? it could be.the reason why the address is no longer there. I m in same situation my address got missing about a week ago though I didn't send an enquiry to ask why, less keep our fingers cross hope for a better news ahead.
