Great! Congrats to you, Greatlakes.

You got your PPR so quickly. And I have a question for you. Did you get additional documents requested with the your Medical? If so, when did you send the additional documents to CIC? I sent the additional documents in the middle fo May.

Matt, Hopefully, we can get it soon as well. :D

With medical they only asked to pay RPRF. Weeks before medical they asked for letter from my current employer.

God bless you all and hope Matt, Katydid get PPR shortly. I will keep you posted.

I have an additional tip, please follow up with CIC via email at least once a month. I did not pester them, but I followed up reasonably 2 times after recieving medical.

I did send a follow up email to them before PPR. I did not get any reply for about 1 week or so. Then I received a reply to that email saying that "Your file is with the officer for review." On Same day I got that reply, I also received the PPR. Interesting!

They did not replied me back yet... Last time when I asked them, they send me a reply a week after saying my file is in queue for further review. And within a day I received an email asking for medical and extra docs.

Hello All,
I am happy to report that we got PPR today. I want to thank you all esp mat_2010, katdid, az21 for all the support.

I had 2 applications in process, FSW and CEC. Both application numbers were mentioned in the email, but 2 weeks back I got an email from CPP that they are withdrawing my CEC application. So it is sort of unclear for which application I got PPR.

I am very happy and thankful to Canada. I will keep posting the progress on my PPR.

Thanks again!

No its very CLEAR, they witdrawn ur CEC meaning your FSW application is the one thats been finalized. If in ur Canada, count 3weeks upon receiving ur passport on their office b4 sending it back to you, that's, if you use express post or priority, I use priority on mine thought still took about 2days of shippining bec. Of geographical location of my city, goodluck!!! & cheers!!!

Congratulation.

I sent an email to CIC and asked about any possible update on my file, but I haven't received any response so far. I hope something happen for our case too.

Got medical request + RPRF payment July 10. Attached Medical form was pre-generated in my name, no form for the wife. Wondering if that's all I need for both of us? Also police clearance was not requested even though I haven't submitted any in the past???

Congrats..did u get any updated documents request from them before the medical?

Many Congratulations...

I think you should get Medical done for your wife as well if you have already added her on the file and send it with your medical results and RPRF. If police clearance is not requested - I wouldn't worry about it ! but get one done just in case if you have never submitted it. - This is just my personal opinion, I am not an expert.

I know, but the doctor's office is asking for my wife's IME number when I was booking the appointment. She doesn't have this as only my form was attached to the e-mail. But I imagine people do medicals upfront before they are asked, so I am wondering why they are so keen on her IME number?
