yes to Ottwa. They also asked for a prepaid Canada post return envelope. This is good because we don't have to wait few weeks for regular post to come.

Great,they also send out PR card through regular post...... Hopefully it comes back soon. It took 8 weeks for my roommate to get his passport back .

It was from Ottawa. My friend provided them with EXpost envelope for the return. It was in February this year. I hope urs come back soon.

Hi az21, well in 8weeks time u'll continue to wait again? Isn't that fun?! Just kidding, we sent our passport last June 11, and reached Ottawa on the 13th? So after I got my tracking confirmation? I emailed them tellng them our passport are so & so, becuase I learned my lesson, the last time they asked me for my updated IMM's form is that it was lost somewhere in their storage? So this time I emailed them also provided them my tracking for confirmation and today @ 7pm pacific time they acknowledge my letter, and said that our application is on que for FINAL CONFIRMATION, and they can't give me specific time frame when will it be finished, but mostly takes about 3-4weeks? Goodluck and happy waiting!!!! ;-)

I submitted everything in last summer, including FBI, medical, landing fee. Why they still keep me waiting, and the status always shows "In Process". What shall I do now ? I know the medical is about to expire.

That's the main key ingridients,,, happily waiting, make your self busy, so that one day when u open your email, you'll be surprised ott-pilot@cic.gc.ca has a new mail for you?!!! Cheers. Once vo got ur papers, trust me in just a day he/she can finalized your application. Our medicals were supposed to be expired this moth, June 19 to be specific, and to my surprise I was like expecting to recieve a re-medical but instead, a PPR?! Whoah?! remember, Happy ;D ;D ;D waiting! 8)

My timeline is similar to you, but I have done the medical and paid the RPRF on May 2012.
We have to wait.

Hello guys,

I would like to put an end to this deadly silence of our forum and announce that I received PPR just now!

Thank you very much for all of your inputs, comments and supports. It was a really good feeling reading this forum. I was reading only this forum for my application.

Now after 3.5 years, it is kind of a strange feeling I have. Surprisingly, I am not much happy as I was expecting when I hear my PPR I would be. Why is that? I don't know, but I know it is not a healthy feeling. I should be very very happy. Maybe the reason that I am not happy now is the accumulated anger of this unfairness and injustice of long waiting in my application over the last 3.5 years. It is a very strange feeling. I did not know that this small stress, disappointment and anger would gradually change my feelings and personality. I hope I can be a happy person like the early days that I applied for FSW3.

Anyways, I am thankful to Canada for being such a generous country and letting me part of her.

I assume that most of early 2010 applicants are getting PPR very very soon (in less than few weeks). Good luck katydid, Mat_2010, greatlakes and many my other good peers in this forum....

I also sent the RPRF last year on May 2012 along with my medical. I updated my documents on Feb. 2013. Still waiting for PPR. I'm FSW3.
