Thanks az21. Its been 43 days, since I took medical exam. I have been refreshing my email countless times in wait for PPR :)

The CEC guys are fast, but FSW we all know how slow it is.

Anyway, greatelakes. It sounds a good news. I think they don' t dare to do so if your FSW application hasn't been approved. If so they will be liable for the result.

Congrats!

Guys,
I got the note below from CIC regarding another CEC application that is in process.

"This concerns the CEC application number mentioned above. A review of your client records has demonstrated that you already have been approved for permanent residence as a result of another application in the FSW Class. As a result, your file has been closed and no further processing will take place. Any forms used for the purpose of filing the application will not be returned and will be retained on file."

It seems to be good news, but I have not recieved a PPR yet. The CEC applications are being processing super fast.

I don't know when I will get a PPR for this FSW application. Any thoughts?

With the statements from the immigration, you need not bother yourself--your PR has been approved.Congrats.

I applied for FSW in APR 2010 and received medical request in Mid may 2013 . and they probably received it end of May 2013 . I also have a CEC application ongoing applied in Oct 2012 . Wondering if they will send me same email.

Hello guys,

I would like to put an end to this deadly silence of our forum and announce that I received PPR just now!

Thank you very much for all of your inputs, comments and supports. It was a really good feeling reading this forum. I was reading only this forum for my application.

Now after 3.5 years, it is kind of a strange feeling I have. Surprisingly, I am not much happy as I was expecting when I hear my PPR I would be. Why is that? I don't know, but I know it is not a healthy feeling. I should be very very happy. Maybe the reason that I am not happy now is the accumulated anger of this unfairness and injustice of long waiting in my application over the last 3.5 years. It is a very strange feeling. I did not know that this small stress, disappointment and anger would gradually change my feelings and personality. I hope I can be a happy person like the early days that I applied for FSW3.

Anyways, I am thankful to Canada for being such a generous country and letting me part of her.

I assume that most of early 2010 applicants are getting PPR very very soon (in less than few weeks). Good luck katydid, Mat_2010, greatlakes and many my other good peers in this forum....

Congratulations,I can clearly understand why u are feeling that.I applied when my situation was not good.I took me almost same amount of time which it took u to get it.During this time period my situation has improved considerably and now I am not able to convince myself that I want o leave USA and move to Canada .However,I will weigh the pros and cons of the situation and and then I will decide what I should be doing.I would have been jumping with Joy if I have applied from India and move from India to Canada would have given me more happiness. However, after having stayed for 8 years in USA.Move from USA to Canada does not excite me as much as move from India to Canada would have.Nevertheless,I would like to say thanks to god for giving us an opportunity to do well in life. There are so many people who either doesn't get this opportunity or their application is refused by CIC.

Congratulation and wish you the best. I am completly agree with you. The unfairness and injustice of long waiting is very stressful. The point I cannot understand that most of FSW3 are qualifies for PhD stream or Canadian Experinece Class and CIC still holding us and advance new applicants from those two streams.
