No need to do anything. It is updated. The CPP-O is working with Unique Client Identification (UCI) and not application file number. They know you as a unique person with a UCI number. No matter how many applications you have, they always look into yuor UCI for your status. So if they got your medical, they update your UCI. All of the other officers when they look into your UCI, they see your medical.

Thanks az21. This is really great to know . :)

How long do you have for your medical expiration? Hopefully, you case will finalize before then. Otherwise, sorry to say my friend, it will be another hectic wait for reassessment and updating documents as I am doing now. I hope this hectic wait end soon for all of us.

Cytric

My medical will expire at the middle of June. Hopeful something can happen.

Hello folks,

has anyone here, has gone through medical reassessment and got extended? Can anyone tell me the approximate timeframe for this process?
Thanks in advance

I have heard that CPP-O requests the extension from another department for up to 18 months. If they approve (which usually they do) CPP-O wont ask another medical examination.

Its new month. Usually I see PPRs come in during first 12 days of any month (For eg, I got on May 8th) and then seldom during rest of the month. So, all the best for those awaiting good news!

A funny thing happened on my E-CAS. It says:

"We transferred your application to the $ciccic_office_id$ office on August 11, 2010. The $ciccic_office_id$ office may contact you."

This "$ciccic_office_id$" used to be Buffalo! :)

Just received an email from cic today.

· > Funds, proof: Proof of funds This must be received at this office by: 08/03/2013

· > Letter from Current Employer: An original letter or proof of annotated cheque stubs from your employer confirming Financial Profile details. This must be received at this office by: 08/03/2013

I just graduated and do not have job yet. Does it matter? will they still consider I am eligible?

Hey guys my medicals expired and the office was willing to give me a three month extension and its already been two months. Do you know what they might do? or how long it might take?

I dont think it matters, becuase you are FSW3. FSW2 needs to be employed only. Just be honest and tell them that you are a recent graduate currently looking for a job.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will tell them the truth... Hopefully it will get through.

I also agree with az21. In FSW3 it shouldn't matter unlike FSW2. (See Ram's case and its complexity) CIC has tools and mandate to easily check if you are employed or not via Service Canada or Revenue Canada (CRA).

I was under what was then FSW3 (TFW or Intl Student in Canadian univ, mine was TFW) but they didn't ask for recent paystubs. However, after I left Canada in mid 2011 and joined my companies US branch, I had updated CPP-O with updated employment letter and updated my Canadian address with US address. I don't know it is this reason or what (one more thing my US address didn't change for last 2 yrs) they didnt ask any such employment update.

I would take it as a good sign and be prepared to submit updated proof of funds.

In my case, POF and RPRF email was penultimate email before PPR.

In your case hopefully, you are on track on receive PPR within June 12.

Thanks for the advice. much appreciated. Do you think I need to update my spouse work information even they didn't ask for it? there is a job change involved.
