Hi All,

I am a June 2010 Applicant and my application was transferred from Buffalo visa office to Ottawa last year. Like most of you guys here I have been waiting for PR for a long time. I got married in December 2012. When I received my passport request in March 2013 I was asked by CIC to inform them of any changes in my family composition. So then I added my spouse to my PR application (FSW) and I have now received a medical request for my spouse from Ottawa.

My spouse is in the process of doing a medical examination. Because of a scar seen in her X-Ray she has been asked to do additional tests by the physician and we have been advised that it will take at least 45 days to get the results. My spouse does not show any symptoms of any medical condition.

Looking at my current situation (and the timeframe for completing the medical examination for my spouse) we are wondering if it is possible to change conditions in the PR application. By that I mean is it possible to inform CIC that my spouse will not be accompanying me now? This way if I get my PR now, I can sponsor my spouse at later date under family class.

Please advise. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Is there any reason why you ask same question in 2 different threads?

I also do the same sometimes, because 1) my question is relevant to those threads and 2) it's more likely to get a proper response.

No, I think is more likely to get people irritated than to get a proper response!

This thread was for pre-june so I am choosing to answer in the other thread.

Good, now you're learning!

Are you asking me? Here's my answer. I am not here to pickup any fight. Canada is a compassionate country and expects her newcomers to be compassionate as well along with mandated attributes. Moreover, I am of this opinion, learning is a life long exercise. There is nothing to be ashamed of learning.

I saw the person in question was over-enthusiastic and posted in two different threads. Rather than pricking on this gullibility, I chose to help him/her as per my best knowledge.

To me that person was genuine and much better than those junkies who posts all the crap ads with cells posted.

But nevertheless, point noted and I replied to him/her on the correct thread and clearly mentioned in this thread why I chose to.

Well said my dear friend ... Ignore stupid people... We are here to help each other and give hope....

we should be respectful to our peers. if it is irrelevant, then no one would reply to him and it wont be a big deal. but if someone reply to him, then posting a comment in this forum was a good thing to do.

we are all in the same situation and have more or less good knowledge and experience of immigration to Canada. We all have been reading hundreds of posts and topics. So anyone can have a reasonable comment for him. Therefore, i don't see a reason to make this forum exclusive to pre-junes.

Shine on in your life like the Sun and pass on the knowledge. Remember the times that you were also desperertly looking for an input and some anonymous online user gave valuable comments to you.
