Hi nadeem55, did you get your tracker activated yet? I have been checking the PNP and CEC forums, and most of them are getting passports back after 2 to 4 weeks, but it may not be the same for FSW applications processed by Ottawa (it seems to be longer for FSW applicants). You have your passport received by Ottawa on the 9th, so I'm assuming you should be next in line to receive it back

Your sweet words come true, my tracker has been activated from last night, I just checked it's near my home out for delivery wohooo.

I would finalize my landing this Friday by driving to US border

I hope to for the turn who are waiting desperately.

nadeem55, Carlover, congratulations!!! It does look like it will take a little longer for FSW applicants to receive their passports back (compared to PNP and CEC). Also, nadeem55, can you share what time your tracker got activated, and what time Ottawa dropped your passport at the post office? Thanks

We are all frustrated and more or less in the same situation. My friends who applied under CEC after me now they are applying for citizenship. I could have applied under CEC too. I lost a lot of money because of being an international student. I was under killing stress, sadness and also anger. I lost my health and best days of my life in waiting for an email or envelope form CIC. Never came. I could have been happier and more successful in my study and life.

After more than 3 years of waiting like this, I came to this conclusion that life indeed is not fair and I have to accept it. I know this does not mean that CIC can keep us waiting forever, but I learned that I need to be patient.

The only feeling I can share with all of you is to be patient. Enjoy your life, even though it is tough. Our turns will come soon (in few months).

I can relate to that, even though I have only waited since February last year (though I've been in this immigration waiting game much much longer before that, since 2002). Enjoying life has been tough, and during the waiting process, I have lost passion for pretty much everything else. I care little about my research these days (my paper got accepted for publication the other day, and I did NOT feel even a single drop of joy 'cause my mind is so pre-occupied by this crap).

The best thing is exactly as you said, to enjoy your life, and worry less about the 'future' that seems like it would never come, though it's getting harder and harder after 11 years (I hope you won't ever need to deal with that ).

Hey guys, I did my medical yesterday.

Dr's office said they will send the MR directly to Ottawa. I overheard the receptionest say that they submit it electronically. Do I need to send any documents related to medical from my side? Or the Dr takes care of everything?

I paid the RPRF, mailed the receipt to Ott. Now we wait. What is the average wait time for FSW applicants to get PPR after MR?

So Guys,

Yesterday I checked my Xpress return envelop of Canada Post with my passport back sticked with Immigrant Visa valid upto May,2014 I took exactly 28 days to get back my passport with CPR, they put a stamp on my Work Permit which was still valid upto May, 2014 inscribed that "Cancelled without prejudice", who cares ehh?

Now I've scheduled my journey to US border at this Saturday to finalize my landing and have some chill time over Niagara falls ;D

I'll keep you posted next week regarding my landing experience.

Stay calm and keep praying for eachother who're still struck in the processing, I know this is long tiring wait but eventually you'll made your day, don't panic or frustrate, your turn will come soon.

If you track back this thread or scan though my prev posts. They did ask for updated forms, updated PCC (state), RPRF before issuing PPR. Only Passports, photo and biodata form are to be sent to CPP-Ottawa,

It seems that hey actually request passport after ME done much sooner than what they did last year. Bangcan and naddeem only took a few months to get their PPR. Hopefully, they can keep working at such a pace.

We don't know about PPR time-line greatlakes. It depends on background check. If your background check has already finished, then it should not take more than few months. Do you have this famous sentence in your ecas?:

"Your application has been reviewed and we started processing on....."

My guess is if you have this, they have started b/c process before and it should be done now. You, me, katydid and Matt_2010 are all FSW3 with very similar time-line. We are all done with Medical and waiting for PPR. Lets keep in touch and see what happens to us!

Regarding medical, yes CIC has changed it recently to electronic. You don't need to do anything. Just wait and relax.

Your time line is similar to mine. I did medical on May first thou. Keep us posted so we can see how fast they are going through our applications.

I did my medical on May 6th and fingerprint last week. However, I should receive my police certificate until next week. I will send all the requested documents after I get the police certificate next week.

Hopefully, they can finish our cases shortly.
