My file reviewed in Nov 2011 and I got the famous sentence of "Your file has been reviewed and we started processing on Nov 2011..."

What about you katydid and Matt_2010, do you have the famous "Your file has been reviewed and we started processing on..." ?

When you get this sentences, it means that your b/c has started. My MP also asked CIC 3 months ago and they said b/c still in process. So I assume b/c should be finished, otherwise what is the point of MR for me?

Yes I do have that . "Your file has been reviewed and we started processing on April 23, 2012...."

Yes. I have it as well.
Your file has been reviewed and we started processing on Apr 2012...
It seems that everyone will have his b/c completed once he receives ME. However, our b/c took much longer than others.

Excellent, it seems that we are all in the same boat.

As far as I know, many persons did medical examination last year while they don't got any update until now. Don't worry. You turn will come soon.

That doesn't mean anything. Maybe just a system mistake. Take easy....

Yap, didn't make any sense.. Did you already send Medicals and pay Landing fees ?? If yes..then it means..good news! or an e-case-update mistake may be...

Great news, Congrats, good luck with your landing :)

After how many days, you got back your passport?

Hi nadeem55, did you get your tracker activated yet? I have been checking the PNP and CEC forums, and most of them are getting passports back after 2 to 4 weeks, but it may not be the same for FSW applications processed by Ottawa (it seems to be longer for FSW applicants). You have your passport received by Ottawa on the 9th, so I'm assuming you should be next in line to receive it back :)

We received your application for permanent residence on June 7, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on November 4, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the Case Processing Centre Ottawa office. They are pending review.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on April 24, 2012.

Medical results have been received.

=================

I have done the medical and also have paid the Landing fee (RPRF) for myself and my family members on May 2012. But I haven't received any news from that time.
I have asked CIC many time, but CIC just says you are in the queue for review. I asked them how long is the queue? and what is my position in the queue but they don't answer. I have to renew all my permits, (study permit, my family members' work and visitor permit.

Their strategy is unfair. I could apply under PhD stream, I could apply after June 2010, ...
Anyway, I don't know when they will think more about their strategy to process our applications.

We can not do any thing more.

We are all frustrated and more or less in the same situation. My friends who applied under CEC after me now they are applying for citizenship. I could have applied under CEC too. I lost a lot of money because of being an international student. I was under killing stress, sadness and also anger. I lost my health and best days of my life in waiting for an email or envelope form CIC. Never came. I could have been happier and more successful in my study and life.

After more than 3 years of waiting like this, I came to this conclusion that life indeed is not fair and I have to accept it. I know this does not mean that CIC can keep us waiting forever, but I learned that I need to be patient.

The only feeling I can share with all of you is to be patient. Enjoy your life, even though it is tough. Our turns will come soon (in few months).

Couldn't agree more Az21. I never ever had patience in my life but I had learned it after going through CIC for past 3 years. Good Luck to all of us ..

Guys,

We received our passports yesterday and landed yesterday itself to become a permanent resident.

I just saw Az21, Matt comments. I know it is really frustrating sometimes, but I completely agree with Az21 and I learned this from my 3 and half year's journey and from my wife. "Enjoy your life, even though it is tough.".

My best friend always says that one-day everything in our life will get changed, but we have to wait for that day. This mantra sounds very simple, but it really helped me in my life on many critical situations.

All the best for rest of our friends and I am sure everyone will get PPR by this summer. I will pray for that.

Thanks for all your support, your inputs really helped me a lot.

I will stay in touch.

Regards
RD
