Hi Koryano,

Could you please share the phone number with us. I usually ignore the phone calls I don't know. I would be good if we can have an idea about the phone number.
Thanks

Im soo frustrated with the way Ottawa handling things, I got a request for some updated documents last Feb 27 and responded in a timely manner with their request sent docu March 1, received to their office Mrch 4, got tracking number to support, and this morning of April 30th I received a phone calll from them asking if i gor the email they've sent me, to cut the story short, they did not received any from their office?! How did that happened?! Do they have like a bogus worker there?! This is really sad and frustrating, I've seen many people got their ppr already and have same timeline.. :-(

Hi guys,

Finally, I got the MR and RPRF request today after nearly one year wating since my ecase status was changing into IP. That is really a big suprise for me. It has been almost three years since I submitted my application to CIO in May 2010. What a long wait! Actually, I have almost already not expect anything from it.

They are also requesting some other updated documents, like the updated reference letter from the current employer and some application forms.

Hi Katydid,

Did CPP-O request "Updated letter of current occupation (employment/studies)" and "Updated letter of reference from current employer" from you? I need to submit these two and I have no clue what is the difference between them. It seems like these two are one thing? Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Hi xzhgry,

They did request the updated letter of current employer but not updated letter of current occupation.

They look same. However, I think you should confirm this by sending them an inquiry email. Only the answer from them are authoritative.

BTW, did they request you to pay the RPRF?

Hi Katydid

I did medical and paid RPRF a year ago.

Anyways, I am so happy that they finally touch our files. Hope we all get PPR soon!

I am happy to hear they asked MR . They asked same from me too except the employer letter as I am not working.. Hopefully we all get PPR soon too.

Congratulations to those who made further progress after long long waiting. Hope my turn can come soon.

Hey Rob,

We have similar timeline. Your turn will surely come soon. It's amazing that within 2 days 3 people here got updated doc request.
Hope they'll touch your file tmr.

BTW, did you contact your MP? Last week my MP got the following massage for me from CPP-O: "Mr. xzhgry's case is pending a review. We have requested a medical certificate extension, which will extend the validity until May 2014, if granted. Our office will communicate with Mr. xzhgry once his file has been reviewed."

Thank u guys.

Matt, do u have any idea about how long we will take for ppr?

To be honest, the other day Dr said between 2 to 4 months. He said my patients this year usually waited that long. If you r asking my personal opinion, I would say depends on the case officer and review panel. We have to hope for the best and prepare for the worst.

Your turn will come very soon too. We are all up in the air because they arrogantly closed down buffalo!!!!

Matt Katy and friends,
I too got my MR today. I am excited, do you guys know in a best case scenario how soon we could get PR.

Should I pay my RPRF right away?

Thanks a lot for your continued support.

Great news, I am preparing requested documents and I will pay RPRF before sending requested docs. Did they ask you to pay RPRF in the email?

Hi fellas.
I just received my passport along with VISA back from NY office this morning. They used my prepaid FEDEX envelope.
I planning to go to US border tomorrow to land.
I wish for all of you still waiting to receive MR, and/or PPR ASAP. The immigration procedure is very unpredictable and really wears on nerve.
Anyways, i wish all of you luck

regards

Great news, Congrats, good luck with your landing :)

After how many days, you got back your passport?

Thanks,
