Hi All,

I got an email from Ottawa to submit documents ,proof of funds,RPRF and medical request within 60 days. I cannot do medical right away caz I have sent my passport for renewal. I will be sending the documents n fees ASAP thou. I hope rest of you get the same email soon.

Hope we all get PPR by the end of this year. I really don't want to apply for the bridging work permit next year after my PGWP expires.

I just called to book an appointment they asked me to have my passport and government issued Id.!!!!

I called another dr and booked for tomorrow and he secretary said I can do with license if I don't have my passport!!!

Hope we all get PPR by the end of this year. I really don't want to apply for the bridging work permit next year after my PGWP expires.

Hopefully your PPR will come soon. They are moving forward with our applications.

I got an email this morning from CPP-O asking for the following updated forms and docs:

· Updated IMM0008 “Generic Application Form For Canada”

· Updated IMM5669 “Schedule A” for yourself

· Updated IMM5406 “Additional Family Information” for yourself

· Updated “Schedule 3” for yourself

· Updated evidence of settlement funds (showing 6 months deposits/ withdrawals history) for yourself

· Updated letter of current occupation (employment/studies) for yourself

· Updated letter of reference from current employer confirming employment along with detailed description of your duties OR proof of current enrollment and attendance at school.

· Scan/Photocopy of your valid passport's biopage

· Also required is an Original IELTS language proficiency results (photocopies are not acceptable)

just a couple of quick questions for you guys about the Updated letter of current occupation:

What information should the "letter of current occupation" include?. And so my current employer should prepare the "letter of current occupation" for me or it is just a description that myself write out and sign? What is the difference between "letter of current occupation" and the "letter of reference from current employer"

I am confused about these two letters. Thanks in advance!!!

I understood other documents but why they asked for original IELTS I thought we have to submit the original when we apply for the application, so did you send them copy at the first point and now they are asking for the original for the same one.

Hi Anuj,

I sent them the original CELPIP score report, but it was just a personal score report (not in a sealed envelope). At the time when I applied, there was no (or that I knew) official score report (in a sealed envelope).

But that's fine. I took another CELPIP test 2 weeks ago for the CEC application and was just about to send out my CEC application. Looks like there's no need to waste another $1500 on CEC, hahaha

Im soo frustrated with the way Ottawa handling things, I got a request for some updated documents last Feb 27 and responded in a timely manner with their request sent docu March 1, received to their office Mrch 4, got tracking number to support, and this morning of April 30th I received a phone calll from them asking if i gor the email they've sent me, to cut the story short, they did not received any from their office?! How did that happened?! Do they have like a bogus worker there?! This is really sad and frustrating, I've seen many people got their ppr already and have same timeline.. :-(

Oh, no! I am sorry to hear that Koryano. What courier did you use? Did you get a signature of the person who receive you file?
Anyways I hope you finish this long process of application soon.
