Buffalo VO FSW ( pre june and non transferred applicants) share timeline plz :)

Hi Guys,

Anybody guide me how to contact MP /what are all the information required/ Is it required to go in person or just email or call would be sufficient.

Please advise.

By the Grace of GOD Almighty, I got Passport Request and RPRF payment last week at Friday.

Another sigh of big relief :)

Thanks for all the members who prayed and the seniors who helped me to get through these long and frustrated moments.

I wish to get their turn who are waiting for MR or PPR :)

Congratulations brother.. I think you are the first one to get PPR and RPRF among 2011 applicants. Friday must be your lucky day...

An email will work for you.It worked in my case, same I suggested to people in this thread and now it's working for them.

My Experience....
  • Applied for FSW1 to CIO Sydney: 12 April 2010
  • Document request from Buffalo: 14 July 2010
  • Status Changed to "In Process": Dec 2010
..............long waiting..............
  • Status updated "Your application was reviewed and we started processing on May 2, 2012"
  • Medical Request : 18 May 2012 (Reached on May 25, 2012)
  • Medicals Done: June 6, 2012
  • Buffalo office closed on 29 May 2012 and file moved to Ottawa
............Again Long Wait...........
  • Document update Request on Feb 20, 2013
  • Documents send through Canadapost Express and reached on 22 Feb 2013
  • Passport Request on 11 March 2013
  • Passport Send through Canadapost Express post to New York Visa office on 11 March 2013
  • Passport Reached New York Visa Office on 18 March 2013
(It took one week for Canadapost Express post to deliver, Other courier service is much faster than Canadapost)
  • Visa stamped on 21 March 2013
  • Decision Made (eCase) on 26 March 2013
  • Passport return from New York Visa Office on 28 March 2013
  • Passport received on Regina, SK on 4 April 2013
  • Landed at North Portal, SK Border on 6 April 2013 and became Permanent Resident.
(Just 6 more days to complete 3 years of applicaiton)

Hi hdz13,

just wondering if you are currently working in Canada or in the US? Thanks! My MP told me if I am in Canada and passed the eligibility check. They will not ask for updated information except for medicals. I guess she is wrong.

It depends. I'm in Canada but CIC asked me to send them my CV and publications list.
