So on Jan 10th they transferred your file to Detroit and on the same day you received passport request.Did they send you passport request in an email?If Email,can u give me Detroit emails address,to avoid their email from going in the spam folder.

Did u fly to get your passport stamped or send through USPS or Fedex.

It looks like they have started updating now.It is declared on their website that every Tuesday they will update.Sooner or later you will see an update,Just be patient and keep checking every Tuesday.

They are communicating with you on a regular basis,which means they are working on your file.They have asked your phone number,some more documents ,which clearly indicates that something is going on for you as well.

They are going to process all M1 candidates before 2014.So your turn will also come.

Guys do not take me wrong , i m really upset with their updating system , that's y i am keep asking every one if any one has any kind news which will help me , Guys i did medical in nov 2011 and its more than 14 month now and more than 3 year to my application
Ottawa asking documents one by one , just taking my test , my full life depends on cic decsion
i cannot start my business in india coz if i ll get pr , my full investment will be waste . i am doing same jobs from last year , its very hard for me shif any where else in india for job reason , i cannot switch my place it will also very expensive for me , coz sooner or later if i ll get pr i have to go to canada start new life their . So i am very confuse with my life what to do now . because after wating 3 year its very hard to run business in india and more over i spent last 6 year in abroad ,

So guys plz dont take me wrong i m just worried and bit tense may be more than u or less , and i feel every one pain and i always pray for every one

Are you going to put your life on hold because you want to immigrate to Canada? I don't mean to sound mean, truth is you sound like you are your own problem. In case you don't know, life is what you make out of it, and it's damn too short, to be wasted, for that matter. Only YOU can make YOU happy. And just by the way, I have noticed a lot of people already gave you lots of advice, like you avoid staying up all day and night requesting for updates here. You really need to take things easy, and look for other things to take some of your time.

i received the PPR from Ottawa by email, Ive been living in Canada since 2008 so I sent the Passports by Canada post Xpress post
and I sent a empty express post envelope with the passports for the return

I was again asked to submit FBI report for my spouse which I already did. But the problem here is that report was issued 2 months earlier, does that make any problem? Any ideas? Do I need to request another FBI report or that should be fine? They give me 60 days to submit it. Since I already have one dated back two months back, I posted it. Somewhere I read that FBI report should not be old than 3 months. But I am not perfectly sure. Further suggestions please.

Hi Cytric

I think you can send the current FBI as it is not older than 90 days.

But just to be sure apply for a new one. Its a bit faster now. One of my friend applied and he got it in 4 weeks.

My friend got his Medicals done in April and he got another request for FB1 in October 2012
