Hi everyone,
I received the PPR email from Ottawa this morning at 7AM PST. I cancelled some meetings to rush and send my passport to Detroit.

My timelines are as follows.

Category........: FSW3
Visa Office......: Buffalo --> Transferred to Ottawa
App. Filed.......: April 2010
Doc's Request.: July 2010
Med's Request: April 2012
Med's Done....: May 2012
Interview........: No
PPR Received.....: 24 Jan 2013

Although I was mostly a passive forum member, all the forum members here gave me the strength and support needed to go through this ordeal. To the fellow forum members yet to receive their PPR from Ottawa, hang in there.... you will get it sooner rather than later.

Med's Request: 25-03-2012

Interview........: waived
Passport Req..: 27-12-2012

Yeah, this is great news for Provincial nominees and QSWs. but it really sucks for MI1 applicants. Simply means they are going to finish up all other applications and then if they get time, gonna have a look at MI1 applications which are the oldest ones chronologically.

Apparently, Our applications (MI1) have the least priority for CIC.

I am just wondering how CIC view the words "assess" and "review". At least I know "finalized" is straight forward.

what about MI1 applicants, who are currently working in Canada with a Job and paying taxes, how can they be ignored until 2014 fall??????this is a most stupid thing I ever heard, giving preference to the later applications that are not even in Canada yet?????
