They may extend your medical up to 15 months from the day it result was received by the office. I have read that in my friends email( when he got a response from Ottawa).. In some cases thou they ask you to redo it. Be patient, mother nature can see something that we are not able to see.

according to capis my medical expired on 6th nov 2012 ,
i am in india right now , i need time for visa eveything , coz i need to arrange everything for visa stamping , how to send passport to detroit

Ram84,
Try to pray to God,He is the only one who can help you,If u deserve to be in Canada then he will ensure that you end up living your life in Canada.

If u really want to be there than spend more time in praying than in this forum.

Folks.
How long does Ottawa give us to complete medicals after sending medical request?

I am asking this because I plan to travel abroad for 20 days and just in case I get medicals request during that period.

Thanks!

Ottawa was already busy with other files and 80% of the files from buffalo went to Ottawa. Ottawa has to do its regular job plus handling the extra files. I am assuming they don't have enough staff and as you know pretty lazy staff too.!!!!!!!!!!

Steve,
Can you share you following timelines:
1. When did you send your documents to Buffalo?
2. When did you get your 2nd AOR?

Thanks!

I sent the doc to Buffalo early 2011. got medical requirements in May 2012.

is their any ppr today

Why didn't they transfer some more files to other offices in USA.What is the point in closing Buffalo and moving files to Ottawa when situation remains the same.

In fact, they should have kept Buffalo open and some files should have been transferred to Ottawa rather than all files to Ottawa.Workload should have been divided.

Doesn't need much brain to figure out such thing but it looks like western world's brain was working at its optimum level when they took decision of transferring maximum files to Ottawa.

Now wondering, Where the files will go from Ottawa?

Thanks,

Hi Ram84
Don;t worry cic in india wouldn't take long to process, once you receive notification show them and applied for visitor visa or go for US visa.

hi haka,

I have a question regarding PPR. how do they send the request? is it by post or email? my timelines and yours look same except you got your passport stamped me still waiting for PPR. ECAS Status: "Your application was reviewed and we started processing on April 12, 2012"
