Buffalo VO FSW ( pre june and non transferred applicants) share timeline plz :)

Some new information has come from unconfirmed sources that all FSW In-Canada applications will be transferred under CEC to open up FSW for out of Canada Applications. Now I do not know whether this is a rumor or not but as I stated it is unconfirmed from a source that works in the immigration department. The criteria would be that if you have worked in Canada for more than 1 year you will be automatically transferred under this program from January 2013.

I will keep everyone updated as and when there is more information.

If this is true that CIC should have done this long before... irrespective of any category if a person is working in Canada more than an year or two those applications should be treated under CEC or at lest should be given priority
But current system ignores and neglects the inland applicants...

Hi Ram,

Have you sent any email to Ottawa regarding your case? It seems that you've done your medical in 2011....So send and email or even call them and ask about your case.

No wonder why my file is not being processed ( Applied in April 2010). As per the article, the files submitted after 25 June 2010 were being processed ahead for other applicants. This means all the files received before 25 June 2010 have be warehoused. This is pathetic. I do not have any hopes from CIC now. .

Today one of my colleague who applied this year March got her passport stamped.. i was so jealous, i applied two years back and waiting for passport request for more than 6 months after medicals..!! CIC is rude..!!

All they do is they are going reverse based on job Category for FSW. It is not our fault that Kenny changes rules whenever he feels like and destroyed many ppl whom have been waiting since 2004. We can just be thankful about not being between those whose application was returned. Many of us waining since Jan 2010 but by the same token we can just observe and do nothing.

They seems to be processing mostly March onward applications.Occasionally,they will process one or two applicatioms from Jan/Feb,rest of the applicants will be given same treatment which was given to 2004,05,06 etc candidates.That is the only way for them to reduce backlog.
