Congrats Garry,

It is really surprising that none of the candidates from Jan/Feb are getting any kind of request.It looks like they are processing March onwards application and they are not looking at Jan/Feb

I am March candidate and heard nothing from them Since April 2012. Still waiting for freaking medical. My work permit expired and now I am on visitor permit in Canada. I hope all comes for all of us.

I've just mailed my passport with Express post to Windsor.
I've sent this angry email 1 week before the PPR!

I applied for PR in April 2010.My Med's was requested in Feb 2012.
Since Feb 2012 I received no updates whatsoever from Buffalo or
Ottawa.It's been 8 months after my medicals,and I desperately need
some answers on whats' going on.I've been living in Canada for more
than 5 years now and when I applied for PR they said it will take 6
months to 1 year for the file to be completed.It's more than 30 months
later and no end in sight.I'm a plumber in Alberta and my occupations
is in demand(on the list of occupations in demand from CIC).Is there
any reason why my file is kept back?Is there anything out standing?
Please I need to make future plans and I desperately need some insight
on my case.

I got negative sign ...Ottawa requested again update forms .......imm0008,immm
0008 2b,notice of assessment, 2009,2010,2011,current emoyment letter.they going to put negative result.I am going send all requested documents. but no hope and going apply again cec .that is badest luck I have u never see.

You should get some relief from the fact that they are processing March candidates as well.I have seen March candidates getting passport request.I am not sure about Jan and Feb candidates.I think only one candidate got request to re-submit all documents.

I don't understand the CIC.Buffalo issued the meds(they do that when they are satisfied with the file) and now they keep on asking for more?After the meds they do a background check and they must have difficulty to verify your history.But it's still not a rejection!If you mail them the docs everything should be fine.

what did u hear from them in April 2012? I am FSw3 April 2010 applicant and have not received medicals yet.

I am also FSW3. I have not received Medical either. They asked me for tax returns from 08 to 11. My addresses since I submitted the application and the copy of status in Canada( They didn't even know what the heck my status was here I guess).

I guess they are more tough on FSW3 than others caz that category was removed after we applied .....Sad((((((((((((((((.

I'm a June 2010 FSW applicant, they asked me to submit my recent photo's and then they closed buffalo office, now i guess
they are waiting for my photos to get old and then they will ask for another photo's....meanwhile i'm still waiting hopelessly for medicals and my work permit is about to expire//.

Well, as I am seeing we are almost in the same boat. If your work permit expires, if your employer gets LMO for you, you are good to go. In case no LMO you can get Visitor Permit and Stay here. I have been in visitor permit for a while now. Well, let me know if I can be any help.
