Hi ,folks i think all you know this news right !!!!!!! after submitting a plea letter from all the law firms and consultancies who offer Canada immigration services they issued a written letter on Canadian consular letter head stating that we can not touch the files until JUNE 2013 those who applied on or after 1st DEC 2010 applied for PR under FSW1 category. Hmmmmmmmm so it is no way that i can see anything this year as i applied in JUNE 2011 so not even early in the next year....... what is this nonsense man,,,,,even they included may be 1 or 2 cases may be evaluated after that particular day that doesnt mean that we started processing of all the applications those who applied after Dec1st 2010 ........they want to play with our lives after almost 3 years damn......this is un tolerable man... even in the news and events of CIC website stating the same thing they will finish all the files by DEC 2014 those who applied before this partial hold on FSW category .

No. I didn't send them any email. I'm afraid they won't reply. And they gave me 60 days to submit. For you, they may have Nov 9th as your next BFD. Just a wild guess. Let's see how it goes. Good luck!

How can I change address? Do the OTTAWA reply back about the address being changed when informed? Any information from the forum member who have changed the address recently.

I always get postal mail from CIC offices in earlier days till medical request. Do the OTTAWA send email or postal mail in future communication?

for your first question, you can change the address through online system. And they do answer my email of changing correspondence address. I want to know the answer of your second question as well.

The answer to the second question is both. they send an email followed by regular mail and it is the regular mail which generally contains more and complete information. email is just a notification on the action as well as information that a mail is following.

Hi Jeevan,
I have changed my address online, but after 6 week I donot see any change. I emiled ottawa asking telling them the online doesnot work and asked if they sent any mail to my pervious address since my move. They replied in the second day. They told me that "we have updated your address. Please allow two weeks to see change on eCase." Also they said "You did not mis any crosponding from us."

So, I think you should email them asap. We expect mail at any day. You donot need to miss any mail from CIC. Please put subject "Address chage- PR Visa application". So they will respond more quickly.

Just an update for people who are waiting for changes in their ECAS status (like I was).

The last update I had was "Medical results have been received", nothing after that. I got PPR, went to Detroit and landed a few days ago.
Until today the status was still "In process" and the last entry was "Medical results have been received".

Today my status changed to "complete", and there are two more entries
("A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision." and a notice saying that I already landed)

So it looks like no updates after "medical received" is a normal thing and that the next step is the actual PPR, not a status change.

(In case anybody is wondering as I was)

Interesting I still have mine In-Progress, though I've landed 2 weeks ago:)) I wonder how they work:)

I found some people reporting that it switches back to "In progress" at some point
and that this may be related to processing of your PR card.
Have you checked it earlier? Was it "completed" at any point?
Do you have anything about landing in the details?

i think two people got ppr today
