hi

I have sent a request to the attorney and he said the below

We have recently begun to receive new instructions for those files that have been transferred from Buffalo to the Case Processing office in Ottawa. I expect that further instructions should arrive shortly. I have now submitted a status request to the Case Processing office in Ottawa on your behalf.

Not sure what further instructions CPP is sending?

does any bdy get ppr today
any response by ottawa

no ppr today........GOD knows when we will see that email

A bit of hope for you guys. There were two PPR's this SUNDAY for the PHD Stream and a medical on Friday and another today. So a bit of evidence Ottawa is indeed working on weekends.

They were two member of the phd stream, so I don't think it really matters, as they applied in November of 2011.
But they are aelatar and karmem. It was also the first time in 4 months that anyone in our stream got any communication
with Ottawa or CIC/ They have not even credited new applicants after August.

Thanks, so they both applied under phd stream class. It is another issue, they are a faster than us FSW s,I have the opputunity to apply for that too(my husband is Phd student, he is in his 3rd year), considering to the fact that I have been waiting for FSW for more than 20 months, does it make sense to apply in phd stream for me or not, in your opinion?

Thanks
Bahar

We appricate Ottawa VO office for sending medical to these Nov 2011 applicants..............congrats guyzz
But this doesnt help any pre June 2010 applicant who are waiting for PPR and whose timeline already crossed 32 months :(

To be honest it doesn't seems that it will be much faster than the normal FSW so I would say no. This were our first PPRs ever, and people that applied before them have not even received medical yet. MY intention here was to show that Ottawa seems to be working hard so you guys should not loose hope yet. But if you are willing too get all the documents you should try. Remember that you are required to fulfill all the requeriments of the normal FSW PLUS the requirments of the PHD stream. All the newer MI were supposedly faster than the previous ones. CEC and PNP's are usually even faster.

Thank you for your reply, I am gonna graduate in like 10 months, so I think it is better for me to wait for it and then apply under PNP class, if nothing happens for my FSW until that time.
