I dont really understand the people whose LMO's has been refused or work permit rejected. I understand company does not want to take care of this long LMO process so it is better for yourself to handle it, all paperworks etc.

Surprisingly there are still people who did not get positive LMO. Such a dumb system, people are craving for their pr, offices are closing down, files taking 3 months to transfer it and they don't give a chance to extend their visa, that's really stupid and unfair. if they would finish our files 13-16 months as they revealed on their website when we apply, none of us would not be in this situation.

If I were you I would apply extension of work permit anyways without LMO and explain the reason very detailed.

I don't see a reason for posting this kind of comments.
Nothing could have happened for the last 3 days.
He's impatient, I get it. But what's the point of saying
that every day, especially during the weekend?

Should I start posting every hour that "nothing changed yet"?

I am seeing an immigration lawyer tomorrow afternoon to see what my options are. Don't have that much hope though.

It's not my fault that they told me it's going to take 17 months when I applied and after 29 months, they don't even bother to tell me where my application is after several emails.

I have established all my career here in Canada, and won't have that much of a prospect outside Canada. They basically ruined the best part of my life.

FSW was fast (it takes only 14 to get PR) when we appiled in Jan, 2010
FSW is now fast track.............
CEC and PNP are also very fast

What our fault in this? we are suffering a lot. We all are stucked...........my work permit is also expiring end of dec................

I was just forced to voluntarily resign from my job since my work permit is expiring next week!!

This is such a difficult moment of my life. I hope no one has to experience the same situation in their lives...

Sorry for bringing my negative feeling to the forum but I don't have anyone to talk to in Canada.

So if there is no chance of extending visa...you need to go back to your country? or are there any options that you can stay?
My WP was rejected due to some stupid reason and after applying again they extended for another year....

Please share the possibilities once you meet your lawyer...

Anybody knows why my CAIPS notes does not mention anything about transfer to CPP-O? Do you guys have updated status in your CAIPS notes regarding the transfer?

I'm started to suspect that they have lost my paper files altogether and that's why they don't confirm any mailed packages or emails.

i got letter from ottawa today , regarding same document they asked agian , which i have sent to buffalo already this time they asked updated IMM 5669 form also
this time they gave me 30 days submit all document
