Just wanted to inform you that if your medical gets expired, even then you will get PPR because it is not your fault. They asked and you provided the docs on time. So, they can ask you to do medical again but will not reject anything. Be poistive, everything gonna be fine with your file. You will get PPR soon. May god bless everyone.

I'm also quite tired of waiting.
Being on a work permit is certainly not easy in this country.
A few months ago I decided to apply for more jobs cause on my current salary my life was going no where.
After about 50 job applications I started receiving calls from employers and recruiters. The moment I told them I am currently on a work permit awaiting PR they gave me the famous line "We'll get back to you!!!"

Yeah right they never got back to me.
I am still on a work permit with the same employer, same salary not moving forward in my life no matter how hard I try.

I have a business idea I would like to pursue but being on a work permit doesn't allow me to.

My work permit comes to a end next year February and its reaching decision time.

Are they messing with our lives, I think so...

Buffalo was so much inefficient that Pre2008 applicants suffer more from buffalo than other visa office. We have choosen wrong visa office. Definitely some of us get PPR but many of us will suffer, I think. I have no hope at all.
From blog, what I came across that,when middle east Canadian visa office was closed, all files were moved to Ottawa and many files get rejected that time. So my optimism is really poor to hear anything good from them earlier in 2012. Canadian immigration from Buffalo visa, is one of the ****** visa office in the last 6 years. Earlier people used to get their case through in 1 year. so I m very much frustrated for my choice to apply buffalo. just loosing hope.

They can do nothing except avoiding and delaying so never expect anything. They get enough manpower and many of them are even frustrated after getting PR. Still under job status in Canada than their level of education and experience. wrong choice.

I would suggest asking for the status of Ottawa applications on https://twitter.com/kenneyjason twitter. Maybe if we get enough people to ask questions he replies.

It is just a game they play, and I am afraid that end of the year they are going to come up with and idea and say ottawa is no longer processing FSW's before JUNE 26.

It is totally unfair immigration system for who already been in canada, working on a work permit, and just waiting to focus on something more important than PR card, such as family, career etc.

according to mr immigration minster , canada is looking for young immigrant , i think we all are young and waiting for ppr and mr jesson is making us old and lezzy while keep waiting , he keep giving ppr in family case and pnp , but he does notshowing any kind of interested in us

I got my CAPIS notes yesterday and not clear about 2 things, can you help me please:

1. File BF’D To: A08 30-08-2012 MICROLOCATOR:

Any idea what is means by A08
Also does at the end “MICROLOCATOR” means it has been forwarded to some storage area? OR someone is working on it from 30-08-2012.

2. Also I have sent all the doc to buffalo, does the below things means Ottawa has got all the details

i got few weeks ago everything was same for only date and code diff from u capis
