That's frustrated I'm waiting for for the Jan-2013 for the new MI, when CEC only needs 12 months experience in order to qualify for that category, if I didn't get reply from CIC upto Feb-2013, I'll consider CEC for sure seriously.

hello all,,

Application processing time shows that, if it's not processed within standard processing time (i.e. 30 months currently for Buffalo), than they will provide the response/update on status. It's been 2 years 6 months 3 weeks and 6 days down the road, instead of getting some updates they won't even respond to email's? I wonder what ottawa is actually doing? weird//

I am also Jan 2010 applicant, waiting for my turn, i do not what you think about this waiting but i m really frustrated now, guyz who applied 1-2 months before are going to eligible for citizenship.................CIC is processing all cases fast after june 2010 and before Feb 2010.................they is really painful and closing of Buffalo made it worst.

Irrespective of our application category the system should consider people who are in Canada and working for years by default as CEC and process according to the CEC processing times.....

other than adding some Canadian experience the application got the same data as it is now....if our applications are stuck due to security checks I expect the same when you apply for CEC too..
I do not want to apply again and go through same pain. I rather consider applying to another country.

Yes, I totally understand you guys. I feel sorry for you all who are waiting for a long.
more over I see people who applied in 2012 got passport request. I really do not understand how they are dividing applications ?

I think I also into your group. I can expect my Medicals only in 2013 comparing to your timelines....

is there any in this forum who is applied 2011 or 2010 and still not got their medicals ?

I just now got my GCMS notes and I see that they sent me medical on 2011/11/01. but I never received any mails from them.
Every time I sent them a mail they said I do not have to do any thing now and office will contact you. damn....

I sent another mail to Ottawa again ...
You better apply for GCMS and see what is going on...

just wanted to ask, you did your GCMS request by filling out the Privacy act form (request for personal information form) and most probably attaching your WP copy and there must not be any fee involve in it?

Please update me, if I'm wrong in any step?

I just filled the form, selected the privacy act, signed and scanned it sent to the mail. I have not attached WP.

I got exactly with in 29 days
the next due date is set as this month 20th...let us see what happens

Received our passport requests today from CPP-Ottawa, for submission to Detroit, 18 months since applying to the (now closed) visa office in Buffalo .

Better late than never though, eh?

Best of luck to the rest of the pre-August 2011 Buffalo applicants still waiting, I hope this is the start of a load of PPRs being issued!

i have applied case in to ns jan 2010 and sent document to buffalo in may 2010 ,
got medical in oct 2011 and medical done in nov 2011 and landing fees cashed in dec 2011
last time document requested in april 2012 and reached all document to buffalo in may 2012
till now i am nt any getting any reply from ottawa

i dont know when i ll get ppr , i am really pissed off by keep waiting really shit feeling
