Yes, he's correct, anyone who applied under FSW-2 his/her WP should be valid on the time when he's applying and also should be valid at the time when he will be granting PR status, it's under Federal Skill Worker Category 2.

I don't think so you can transfer your file to India, I'm not confirm but try using senior resources before doing that.

I was also thinking to transfer my file to india. I am FSW1. My time line is on left.
My ecase status is RBVO since June,2011. And i don't know after Buffalo closer where my file went. Tried to reach Ottawa through email but no response from them. I recently requested CAIPS notes. waiting for it.

Can i transfer my file to india or not. Becuse i was planing to move india in December.

Your help will be appreciated.

Even I am thinking of returning back to my home country and get the application transferred there.. India VO is faster than these Buffalo and Ottawa offices.....

Hi Ram,
my visa is getting expired with in 4 days. I applied for extension. I will be in Implied status till the decision is made on my WP.
if there is a problem I have to move back to India.

the question now is that QSW applicants can transfer their applications to other VO's or not?

can any one answer to my query...

I'm just as frustrated as you are and my timeline is a month prior to yours. You do have arranged employment here, heck I'm working in campus as a student, but I do see a glimmer of hope in the reply you got. First of all you were given a definite time in which you'd be contacted + this time limit is still under the time frame Minister Kenny announced that they'd clear off the back log which means they are working well on the plan. You may be contacted well ahead before December 2012 inshaAllah. Medical might not take as long as we assume it would because the files that have been transferred in Ottawa are relevant to applicants who applied from Canada. So a great number of backlog sitting in Buffalo has already been cleared.
Thing will work out inshaAllah, don't be frustrated.

Thank you so much for your kind words for me, yes many people commented that I'll get any news before Jan-2013 so I may stop doing repeated inquiries but still this is a long tiring wait. What about your timeline, please share here, thanks.

@syed_h_sha & Andy11, I'm not sure that you guys can transfer your applications to India but I guess you should keep your files left in Ottawa and you can visit India, once you get any news from Ottawa (like MR or PPR) you guys can request to redirect to your nearest VO, so better to ask from Ottawa or your Indian VO that is it possible if you can do that.

@syed_h_sha the rule for WP for FSW-2 does not apply for QSW, this special requirement is only for FSW2.

One of my friend in canada , he told me that people are start getting ppr from ottawa now
according to lawyers ottawa start sending medical and ppr to those who are waiting for ppr

its really slow and lazy system through out the world , pissed off

I applied under FSW 2 category on March 18th, 2011 and the application was approved for further processing by Sydney on April 5th, 2011. On April 13th my file was transferred to Buffalo. Ever since then I've been sending inquiries via my MP and getting an update on my application as there is nothing prominent that is being shown in my profile online. It was in May 2012 when my file was transferred to Ottawa (I believe that was the last week of May) and on June 12th they asked me not to contact until 60 days. So I sent down an inquiry again on August 1st and this time they prompted that a background check is currently in process. I went again to my MPs office on 4th of Sept but the office didn't get any response from them as of yet.

All the best guys. Hope soon we will get PPR. nothing seems good with Ottawa working style no email no response nothing At least the buffalo used to reply their standard mail in time. yes we should blame the place from where we come from as Willem mentioned earlier and we have not applied if Canada donot come forward with this immigration system. They should have proper measure to finish either to accept or deny application in approximate time frame. I still believe we pre june 2010 applicant do not bear the same scenario like of 2008 candidates. Only I hope so.
