Mine is expiring this month 10th. applied for extension..waiting for the results. When I applied for four months back they rejected as the job offer letter was missing. I applied again with all the documents. Hopefully I will get extended .

Any news from anybody it's been almost 2 years nothing !!!!!!!!! No news what these guys doing !!!!!! I think they are not getting paid on time so delaying process of applications !!!! No news from anybody ???

We have to blame Buffalo and the countries we came from.My ''old countries'' murder rate is 27 000 murders a year! The second highest in the world!Now Canada have to adopt me,and God they take their time.Thanks to the shytehole i was born in,you really fooked my life up!Even after this 3 years of waiting I will still thank Canada for this opportunity.

I just realized something. If I don't get my PR before the end of my work permit expiry, I can't even get it! One of the requirements was that my work permit was valid at the time of application and when the PR visa is issued.

Basically, I'm skrewed!!! 28 months of wait for nothing!

Hi Nadeem,
I will get some info from my MP soon. I guess you and me might be in a same boat. only difference is I am QSW.
I might hear the same answers as yours from my MP.
I guess you are already in Canada on a work permit. I know few guys who applied at the same time got their passport requests. I do not understand why ours is stuck.

I am also eligible to apply for CEC. thinking serious to apply for the same.

Go ahead and apply for CEC. Dont waste ur life here on FSW. Our application is a year before you and see our situation. For FSW it wont get any better. CIC would focus on PNP and CEC more.

Another tuesday gone................no change...........its almost 33 months since i applied to NS

Hey Jenny, do u see any update in your EcaS?

CIC informed my MP that my application is physically in Ottawa but has not assigned any file number yet. I am still on backgorund check It is about 11 months now! They asked my MP to follow up every 3 months

My ecas also does not show anything!

Thanks Willem. But I'm not sure what will happen when my permit expires. I will have to leave the country and don't know what's going to happen to my file when Im not in Canada anymore.

Hi I do not think it is correct? where did you get that information.
I heard from my friends that few people who applied when they are in Job in Canada and went back to their home country and got their PR.

can you point where you got the above info

Even I am thinking of returning back to my home country and get the application transferred there.. India VO is faster than these Buffalo and Ottawa offices.....
