Buffalo VO FSW ( pre june and non transferred applicants) share timeline plz :)

Hi guys!

For those of you who had their application previously in Buffalo, and they think that it has been transferred to Ottawa after they closed the Buffalo visa office, I wonder if you got response from Ottawa after sending them an inquiry or update to your application?

I sent them a couple of emails more than a month ago to update my marital status and ask them about what documents are required. Until now, I haven't received any reply!! Please advise if you have similar situation.

there is a possibility that your application is either in Newyork or Detroit if you have done your medicals and waiting for PPR.
if not gods know where it is. if it is in Ottawa nothing we can do about it other than requesting CAIPS notes or contacting Canada MP to get the details...

Thanks, Syed! I think I am in the same boat (did medicals, sent my RPRF, and awaiting the PPR). I was thinking to send a fax to them about my updates. Did anyone try to do that?

This is really shame for canadian immigration

They told us on 29 may 2012 after closing buffalo wait for 60 days for any reply from ottawa , its more than 85 days now still their is no reply from ottawa side

They just keep wasting our time , its more than 31 months now i have applied my case in N.S

They are keep making new methods for updated new immigration system but how can they forget we are still waiting after 31 months and even 10 moths after medical , i do not know what will happen now , or any thing will gona happen or we will keep waiting

I have not tried so far. but i see some one in this forum tried and failed to do so.
You can always do that to see if it helps and update to us.
if your application is not in Ottawa I do not think they will reply or send you standard reply to wait till the VO contacts you.

Do you think the chances still exit for us to get feedback from any CIC offices either Ottawa, Detroit Newyork? I have seen the web page to submit RPRF but still could not sure to submit money. My friend got RPRF and ppr together so it should not be a problem for RPRF fee to pay.

Still I am wondering much what I need to do. Just cool down nothing more

Should I be requesting CAIPS or GCMS ? I am confused which to apply for, heard GCMS is the new method ? I am currently in US and waiting on PPR for almost 5 months now. Overall it is 29 months. Do not know where my file is at this moment.

My application is in Ottawa, I come to know about it becuase i have ordered GCMS notes, so if you order it you can know about the location of your file.

I have order the notes through Caipsnotes.com. I do not know if they would send me the CAIPS or GCMS ? They was no selection there. Could you tell me if you have ordered the same. I had to pay 40 dollars for the processing.

they are same. GCMS is the new system. If you know some one in Canada it only cost you $5.
