Dear All
I am following this forum quite often. I have recently received my medical on March15 and has done already.
Besides that i have also added my newly born child and send all the requested document to Visa office buffalo. Its already more than a months that i have not received medical request for my child. Senior please help me. Will there be a problem of getting medical for my child? Upto when I can be assumed to receive Passport request and for RPRF?

I am still afraid that they may reject my application or not

Hello jeevan,

What is the place of birth of your child? Let me remind you that a child born in Canada is a Canadian Citizen (though exceptions exist). Assuming your child was born in Canada, s/he will not require medical examination as s/he is not applying for permanent residency. Although, you have updated buffalo of the change of your family composition, you have not added your child to your permanent residency application.

Regarding PPR and RPRF, I would let other knowledgeable members answer that.

Best

bootstrap is right. If your child was borned in Canada they most likely wont require her/his medical report. Also, one month seems to be not too long. Othewise, you could email them a inquiry about this.

There is no time restriction for Buffalo to send you RPRF and PPR. They often do work at random. However, sometimes some people get their MR and RPRF togehter as I remembered, and usually they receive PPR within 1-3 months after MR, no fixed time.

Today received the mail from Buffalo, requesting W2'S from 2010 and 2011.

Who knows what the W2'S is? Thanks.

Sounds like IRS form. Have you ever been employed in USA?

I Googled and this is what I found http://www.irs.gov/instructions/iw2w3/ch01.html

did you worked in the us those years?

I never work in USA. They also required the very detailed LoR. What does that mean by very detailed? Actually, I think my references are already pretty detailed. I am not sure what they really wanted. Anyone knows?

W2 is US equivalent of T4 in Canada.

Thanks, bootstrap, glowinghear and bongcan. I guess too it is T4 in Canada. I have sent buffalo email to confirm this thing.

Hello Katydid,

Really not sure why they are asking for LOR again. They sent the first request on the same date as the IP date which was on the 22nd of april. I sent the updated current LOR on the 2nd May and it was received by VO on the 4th according to the Canada Post's tracking tool. But the second request was issued by VO on the 1st May. It is asking for LOR, POF along with MR. So, they have apparently issued the subsequent LOR request before even my reply arrived at the VO. I have sent them a case specific email for an explanation.

The status in ecas is still "In Process" as before.

On a different note, has anyone done fingerprint for RCMP clearance check in advance?

Hi bootstrap,
How did they ask for LoR with your MR for the second time? Did they ask for the updated current LoR again in the same way as the first time or the very detailed references, like the request they sent to me?

Did they reply your inquiry?

Hi Bootstrap My child is born in USA . what do u think the time line for obtaining medical. As Me and my wife has done medical already. I have submitted all the document for babay as well my updated FBI and other requested document to visa office. I am still wondering the time to get MR request for my newborn baby. I think the PPR and RPRF will still be the long way I think. If you have any idea aor senoirs if u have idea let us know.

Hi Katydid,

Yes, they made the second request for LOR along with MR. Unlike the first request, they only asked for updated current letter of reference from employer in the second request. First request for LOR asked for updated LOR with indeterminate period upon issuance of PR. In neither requests, there was any item with check box that asked for detailed reference. Although, the letter mentioned what to be included in the LOR such as detailed duties, salary, hours, etc.

No, they have not replied yet. I sent additional documents with LOR yesterday anyway.

Hi jeevan,

I hope they issue the medical request for your baby very soon. The medical examination for infant is very simple. So you should not be worried. Please follow the link below:
