yes i applied for caips 5 months after medical and then 9 months after medical:

- 1st caips: this one showed no activity in visa office since it sent me the medicals (on May 13, 2011) ... it showed the medical officer (not part of VO most probably, cz it was mentions separate from my case activity section) updating my record that medicals are okay but it seemed like VO didn't take any action in response
- 2nd caips: this one hasn't arrived yet, but i already got PPR

I sent status enquiries (using email, not case-specific-enquiry) once a month for the 1st 6 months ... they replied every time with the exact same response "pending results from background checks. Cannot give an estimate of when it will complete" ... then i stopped sending them enquiries out of desperation (and cz I got busy in my personal issues)

i don't have AEO ... I'm an FSW category 1 applicant (list of 38 occupations, applicable to cases in Ministerial Instructions 1, i.e., applications before June 2010)

i was born in country A, lived most of my life in country B, but now living in US ... so 3 countries total, but only 2 countries since I turned 18

guys,

please add your NOC's in the grid and also this is weird that they send PPR to applicants after they have done their Medical a year ago almost .
