I think they need updated Schedule 1- background declaration, but it is a good idea to include Schedule 3 too. I don't think that you need to declare a 1 months visit. You only need to declare the place where you live 3 months or more. Also, as per your post, they aren't asking for FBI and/or police reports. So relax. These can be submitted by email too.

When did you last sent your FBI report? Those are usually good for 1 year. Otherwise you should be prepared. But the worst thing is you can only send FBI 90 days or earlier and you never know when they are going to ask it

I have not sent any FBI and they did not ask me for the same. I sent one from my home country and that too when I applied..... I guess that one is of no use now and need to get a fresh one......

It really depends. Theoretically, you are supposed to send all PCC other than Canada if you have lived 6+ months since attaining 18 yrs of age. SOmetimes for Canada also they request it. Even for US they make state level certificates. In my case, I submitted FBI and native country PCC in 2010 but they requested my US state one after my medicals were submitted in Jan 2013. I just got them delivered in Feb 2013.

what is the scope for ODD job opportunities for indian students at cafes, factories, farms and other minimum wages jobs? Do these cities have ample or few job opportunities?

is it possible to cover expenses like travel,food,

through such jobs?

Guysssss. I'm shocked, I got passport request from Ottawa today!!!!! After almost three years, they finally completed processing my file!!

I am supposed to submit my passport to new york in 15 days. My status on CIC website is still the same "started processing on March 12, 2012" (in case some people don't have their status updated -- it doesnt matter)

You can see my timeline on the left panel. I am a May 2010 applicant.

Now, this is supposed to be good news. But after I gave up my hope with CIC, I started to take my life in my own hands. I have a flight booked this friday and was going to get married next Tuesday. I don't know if it's good or bad timing from CIC but it's definitely confusing for me now. Would they delay my application a lot more if I want to add my spouse next Tuesday? Can I even do that know? Just to give you an idea, if I don't add her now I will have to sponsor her and with the current processing times in Ankara office, they will take 15-18 months to finalize her application.

I appreciate if anybody has any advice.

Congratulations waitforever Enjoy . I suggest sponsor her once you have a confirmed status. If you add her now I suppose you have to add up some more documentation + Medicals + Proof of Funds for Two.

If I was you I would get my PPR and then add her.( just my thought)

Please finalize the application, and sponsor her when you have your PR in your hands. Besides, she can come around on TRV before her PR comes out. Trust me its gonna be way easier for her to join you as family class currently has no backlog.

If I were you, I won't bother to add my spouse at this point. They will for sure delay your case for atleast 5-6 months. At this moment you are not even married. So secure your position first. Rest will follow.

Congratulation!!! If I were you I would have sealed my position first before adding her to your current file!!!!! I guess many people here couldn't agree more with this option!!!!
