Loveson, the stat holiday couldn't have come at a worse time for your passport delivery. I sent mine on a Friday and it got there on a Tuesday so hopefully yours arrives tomorrow

Well my ecas finally says Decision Made as of today so hoepfully i will soon have my passport in hand and we can leave and then come back and land.

I'm in Whistler so just up the road a bit Not 100% sure yet but i think we will go on a little vacation to US/Mexico then land when we fly back in. I did consider doing landing at Vancouver office but it all depends on how long it would take as i've heard a month or so (my visa is fine until Nov but my bf is on a tourist visa). We don't have a car and I was just worried if i did the bus to Seattle then they may not wait for us and we get stuck at the border til the next bus etc. Plus I could do with a vacation

You mean your PR visa until Novermber? That means only 4 months time to land.

No sorry I mean my current work visa expires in Nov. I think my PR visa is valid until April or May 2013. My PPR email had 2 different dates so I'm not entirely sure haha. Good old copy & paste by VO

Its permanent resident visa, for Canada entry to land as a Permanent Resdent. ;D

No sorry I mean my current work visa expires in Nov. I think my PR visa is valid until April or May 2013. My PPR email had 2 different dates so I'm not entirely sure haha. Good old copy & paste by VO

My Student and Work visa will be expired on 30Sep, hope I will get back the passports before that date.

I just got my passport back from Seattle. The whole process took only 25 days given that I am in Canada and they sent it by standard post.
Hope all of you hear a good news soon.

Yahoo, congrats Eco. We got our PPR the same day i think. Did you mail your passport on 13th? I sent mine 13th, arrived 17th. My ecas says DM as of y'day so hopefully i get my passport back this week or early next Where in Canada are you? Do you get a letter re landing etc?

Congratulations, Eco. you said only take 25 days to get back your passport? Does it calculate from the day your passport reach Seattle office to the day of 08aug yesterday.

Mine sent on 02Aug , arrived 07AUG, and I sent an email to inform them my wife's pregnant, so I think my case would be some delay. : (

Thanks Wendy, I sent it on 12th and it reached there on 16th, I guess. I am in Alberta.
I got a letter explaining what to do and the Confirmation of Permanent Residence. I am sure you will get yours soon.

Thanks loveson, 25 days is from the day I sent them to the day I received the passport. Yours is gonna take a bit longer, I guess, since you will have an angel soon. So I hope you will get your passports back by mid september, most.

Oh, then pragnant would really delay the application?

My study permit will be expired on 30Sep12, then I am considering do i need to renew it.
