My file was transferred from Buffalo to NY during CAIPS order. It had entries for both buffalo and NY. CAIPS did not have any entries for background check by Buffalo. NY office had assessed my case, calculated points, verified my IELTS score and was satisfied with submitted docs. Therefore, entries for selection decision was there. The last entry was for MR + RPRF request. I got MR, submitted RPRF and they issued me PPR.thebeast184 said:Has anyone ordered CAIPS once the file was transferred to a new VO? Do you know if the background checks where conducted by Buffalo prior the transfer or what Buffalo did prior transferring the file?
Thanks,
Rod

I got my CAIPS notes right around the time my file got transferred to VO, but details on CAIPS was BFD Feb 1, 2012 for PPS. No mention of New York Visa Office at all. My eCas showed that the file was transferred before the date stamped on the CAIPS notes, though. Could have been one of those right near the deadline things though, so not sure.thebeast184 said:Has anyone ordered CAIPS once the file was transferred to a new VO? I had a similar situation, but in my CAIPS they logged every small detail about my case. VOs were very generous with words. All dates mentioned in the CAIPS matched with my e-cas and communications received from Visa Office.emjay025 said:I got my CAIPS notes right around the time my file got transferred to VO, but details on CAIPS was BFD Feb 1, 2012 for PPS. hi Kummy,Kummy29 said:Nope, Canadian citizen's wouldn't need a US visa, just the passport would suffice.
Did you get PPR by email? Did it have instructions for in-person stamping?
Pls advice..
