we have landed yesterday, first we went to the detroit visa office and got our visas and then landed at the border..

Before I did my medicals I have emailed Buffalo visa office to confirm it will not have a negative impact on my file, and they said the only risk is medical exam is valid for 1 year and it may expire, and i may need to redo it. Is there anyone in this thread who had to update their address with buffalo visa office in the past?
If yes, did you do so by email, phone call or fax? Can someone suggest me what is the most reliable method to inform buffalo of a change of address informaiton. I believe that sending multiple requests is not recommended by VO.

Please help and give me any information regarding this.

I completed my medical on Nov 12th..I am waiting for next step..
Once if they request for PPR...can we go directly to Detroit office to get stamping..they will allow...?
I am in India now..

They asked me to send the 3 documents (12 months Bank statements, My 2009 T4 forms, My present company pay slips).

Did they asked anything like this for you…?

Before I did my medicals I have emailed Buffalo visa office to confirm it will not have a negative impact on my file, and they said the only risk is medical exam is valid for 1 year and it may expire, and i may need to redo it. Other than that it was ok, so far I haven't seen anyone who got in trouble, the worst case scenario you will do it one more time when they ask for it, which is another $120 if i remember right. You may also try to Email and check with the visa office. If you decide to go with it just make an appointment with any DMP they have all the forms you need, you'll manually put your visa office file number at the top of the form, and that's it..

I have to show $17,500.00 Canadian dollors as proof for funds for canada immigrataion. I am living in US from past 4.5 years. My question is apart from funds available in US banks, Can I show funds in Canadian dollors from my INDIA account.
If some one gone with similar situation, please share.

You can show funds available in your bank account in India too. I have shown funds in my bank accounts in Canada, India and Indian mutual funds.
