Hey sa-leth,

I am in Texas and my file was FSW1. They said they started processing my file on November 22, 2011. Hope you hear from them soon as well...

Hi All,

Just a quick question,

Can I use the receipts from the designated medical practictioner to be proof that I have completed the medical examinations?

Thanks,

What do you want to use the proof for? I do not think the VO is going to act anyway until/unless they receive the official medical reports in Ottawa from your DMP. Others can comment.

what_a_nice_tuesday,
Congratulations on completing the medical examination. I second Bonny's answer, the receipt it is just a confirmation for you. You can check with the Ottawa office in a few months. Based on the posts on trackitt, most people are getting PPR within two months of the DMP submitting the medicals.

Hi

Even in my MR documents, it was asked from us to submit a proof of Medical done. For that purpose we also sent the reciept from DMP and bill from X-Ray imaging company to Detroit office. Well I dont know what is the purpose behind this, but it was asked apart from DMP's result to ottawa.

I don't think you need to sent it to your Visa office. this is just your receipt. the VOs need the official approve from Ottawa.

Is this two months just for NY Visa Office? because I found it for Buffalo over 5 months.

Hi All,

When you send your documents, you may include copy of receipts for medicals, not originals, as proof. You have to keep the originals in your records till you receive your PPR, just in case. It was recommended by my lawyer to do so however it is not mandatory.

All the best.

Thats is also true, but they did ask in letter that they need a proof that your medicals have been done. So proof can not be your result from DMP, cause he send those results directly to ottawa. thats means you dont have any thing to prove you are done with medicals. so in that case your reciept helps. Proof is part of " Reqd. Document list" from detroit office, which they need for their satisfaction. and Medical request results is requirement from Ottawa, which is a standard procedure.

Hi

I did the same, I attached a photocopy of reciept along with my other documents. However I kept the original for the future uses.

thanks

Friends,

Have couple of questions related to medicals:

(1) Does the DMP immediately send the Medical reports to Ottawa? Is there anything we need to do so that DMP sends these documents immediately?
(2) I heard from someone that it takes up to two weels to get the blood test results etc. Is that true (especially if you are living in Canada)
(3) People living in Canada/Mississauga area - please suggest a good DMP.

Also people who have their application transferred to LA office - how are you sending the RPRF? I was checking with Qorax. He is of the opinion that LA officer might had forgotten to request RPRF (!).

Hi All,

Thanks for answering the question,

I have to send proof of funds and right of permanent residence fee to them any way; there is no harm to attach a couple more pages.

What a nice Tuesday

I wish you guys have a nice Tuesday as well.

Hello,

Its almost 3 weeks since my medical reached Ottawa but I haven't heard anything from them. Is there any way to check my status?

Any clue how long it gonna take to get PPR??

Very glad to hear lots of progress and MR sent out.

Has anyone here who has had progress made on their application applied for CAIPS? Did the displayed BFD on your CAIPS notes reflect correctly?

I just recently got CAIPS notes and the BFD on it for PPS is Feb 2012. However, what's confusing for me is my file on eCas says it was transferred from Buffalo to NY VO on NOvember 16. The CAIPS notes I received are dated November 23, but there is no record of my application being transferred.

ANy thoughts??
