Guys:
I received an email requesting for document update (including the generic form M....0008). The list was long including:
1. 6-month bank statement showing a history of withdrawals and deposits
2. Secondary school diplomas and transcripts - Our my country only provides a diploma with grades on it
3. State Bkground check (USA). I had provided FBI before)
4. Copies of passports with no less than 6 months before expiry date.

Is this normal, especially with #1?

2011July20, dont worry, it could be that the end is near. They probably wants to confirm your settlement income. I ma pretty sure your visa will be ready as soon as you forward these documents to them

shinbukan, you should be getting your PPR by next weekend.

IS IT REAL OR AM I DREAMING??????
******************************

Guys I have waited so long (almost 3.5 years) for this day and went through so many obstacles, hassle, confusion, emotions and what not.

Finally, today I got the PPR. I am extremely happy and all thanks to Allah almighty, without his will it was not possible. I pray to Allah that all of you who are waiting for this day, may you wishes come true very soon.

I thank all of you, you guys have answered so many questions and kept me motivated. Thanks a lot guys...!!!

Another question: I remember somebody wrote that with Passports we also need to send photos. The PPR I received doesn't say anything about photos at all. Should I just send passports, copy of the PPR email and prepaid envelope or should I include photos as well?

Thanks

Mani, Congratulations!

My PPR email also did not ask for photos. My medical was sent by e-medical and I believe they are able to use the same photos. The PPR emails are not all the same so I think you can just send what they have asked you for. I hope this helps.

Hi Guys,

Can someone please give me a link to print Xpresspost label to have my PP delivered to USA. I know it's a silly question, but there are so many options, I am confused which one to select.

Also, what will be the SHIP FROM info? First name, Last name, email...

Thanks

looks like they are sending PPR to people having july 2011 or prior app date. I got PPR last friday, appl date july 20th 2011, and already shipped our passports to visa office.
I know it's to easy to say to have patience but there is no otherway. Hopefuly they gonna process 2011 n older applicants soon.

I wish all the best to everybody !!!.

Thanks
PK

Hi guys, I've ordered caipsnotes two weeks ago in hope to boost my case somehow. Today I received an email from this time different VO requesting

· Updated IMM5669 “Schedule A” for yourself and your spouse
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5669E.PDF
· Updated evidence of settlement funds (showing 6 months deposits/ withdrawals history) for yourself
· New original police certificate for yourself and your spouse from Germany
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/index.asp

I wonder why they did not request at the same Time with rest of documents 6 months ago?
Now that's gonna take time again. But I don't have other choice. Let's make that either

Hello Samnov,

I keep checking this forum in anticipation that I will hear some good news from you.

It's a bit annoying that they have asked for documents again now.But it is also a sign that they are working on your file.Keep going.Send them the asked documents as soon as possible.

Good Luck. Be positive.

Regards.

Thank you Lincoln, that's really nice of u. This forum has a good tradition of thinking of each other.
Like you said, I'll keep going and will send then those documents but again don't no how long gonna take a police certificate from Germany. But I have been given another 60 days which I think will e enough.
Thanks again and nice to hear from you.

I have sent photos though didn't ask. And cic used old pictures for me and my wife. But they used new picture for my son. So it's nothing wrong to send the pictures.

I have wrote CPC in first name and Ottawa in last name. It worked fine for me and I got my passports without any issue.

Hi Samnov:

It is a pain for sure to ask for more documents, but the good news is, you are moving forward. Most times our applications are dormant, but when they start asking for stuff, things move quickly.

It is just a matter of time now, fill those forms and send them back. ;D

Good luck, Cam.
