Hi,

Can somebody please tell me, does PPR always come by email? Or can it come by regular mail?

Thanks

After 2011, I think they are using e-mail as the mode of correspondance (ofcourse, if you have specified one at the time of filling out the application)

Hi Sarat, how you doin? Did you send your child's Medicals if so did you get any respond from them? Lately is noting going on in this forum. Officers are busy with the new applications or what?

Hi All,

Just checking if any one of you recently sent passports to Ottawa and how many days it took to get it back with the stamps.

I sent last week from US, and it reached Ottawa office on Tuesday April 29th. I was just checking Canadian Experience Class forums some of the folks have got back their passports within 5-8 days.

I need to go back to India in next 2 weeks, I am freaking out....

So guys please do share your experience

It just took one day to get my passport back. My passport arrived CPP-O at 11:34 AM April, 22, and then cpp-o return it to me at April, 23. I received it in the morning of April 24 and found the visa was issued on April,22, the same day that my passport arrived.

Sam,

I have received his request for medicals on April 16. We got his medicals done on April 19 and I am expecting that CIC must have received them by now. Now, just keeping the fingers crossed and waiting for the PPR

What about you? Did they add the third line for you? My guess is that our officer could be waiting for medicals of all the applicants under him and once he receives them (along with the security checks) then he/she will issue the PPR's for all at the same time...I am not sure if it works like that but then let's see...

Hi Sarat, that's good that you sent that last thing. Now you can wait also for PPR any time. I don't got any thing yet not even the third line. Actually I was thinking about that theory but did not speek out. Maybe he is working that way. I hope we will hear from him very soon. Stay in touch.

My husband and I have been following this thread for few months and this has been so helpful to us.

We applied for FSW at Buffalo in Sep 2011, Meds requested and done in Dec 2013 . Our latest Online status is "Meds received".

In mid april this year we got an email asking us to send an Updated IMM0008 “Generic Application Form For Canada” within 15 days which we did promptly.

Did anyone else get a similar enquiry, not sure what this means?

Hi All
As I told you before I recived the PPR on 22nd April, I hand carry our passport to CIC by hand on 29th and since then I didn't get any reply from CIC!!
Is this normal I was expecting visa stamped within couples to few days but not more 10 days now!!!
Does anyone heard somethings like this before?

Regards,
GP

Did you get document update with medical request? That was in my case. Otherwise I don't hear it yet in this forum. Please stay in touch. Good luck

No we got the email requested the updated document almost 5 months after meds
Ok than you sent all of documents and we are in the same boat, waiting for PPR

Quick questions to all who have received passports from CPP in USA
a)Online tracking says that it's in USJFK ,I presume it's JFK US Side... Is this standard?

b)USPS is bit irregular on timings in our neighborhood, I checked with USPS guy he said that if it doesn't requires "Restricted Signature" he can leave at front office, so what kind of signature did it require?

c) What to check once you receive your passports?

Hi Samnov:

I just read your timeline... you did your medicals a year ago and they still have not contacted you :o It's amazing what most of us have to go through...

As for me, it has been over 2 months that my COPR was lost in the mail. I wrote to them asking to please send me another and that I would like to send them an Xpresspost envelope... They don't even answer me back! My COPR will expire in August, and I can't do anything about this... Unbelievable... the "Client Service Unit" has decided not to answer me.
