Thanks for the reply

If someone gets the medical request, at this stage what has been done from CIC end and what is left?

Has CIC contacted one's previous employers for job verification?
Has CIC verified degrees and certificates?
What else has been done by the time one gets the medical request?

AND

What is left?

Thanks

Guys

How long does it take to get the passport back after submitting to cpc.

Thanks

Hello,

How do you know if your interview has been waived? I applied under FSW. I have completed my medical as per request (1 week ago) and have also sent in the last 2 months my RPF fee, proof of funds and Criminal Record Check and scan of passport, as well as a few updated documents. Is it possible that they will still require an interview?

Thank you!

Hello,
In my case, I applied for GCMS and in the officer's note section, where the officer had reviewed my file, there was a sentence saying "Interview waved".

Took a little over a week from the time they received it until I got it back. I sent it with a prepaid xpresspost.

Hi Wolvy:

For my second COPR, whenever they decide to send it :'( , I was thinking of sending them a FedEx Envelope with another Fedex Envelop inside prepaid to our address... so they can put the COPR inside and send it back.

Of course they would have to agree to this arrangement, but I have already told them that mail in our zip code is very unreliable and gets lost frequently. Is the FedEx arrangement I wrote above a good one in your opinion, or is there a better way to proceed?

Many thanks,
Cam

I would wonder if they'd agree to it, probably would be xpresspost or something like that so you could track it. I know in the PPR request they did say if we sent anything other than xpresspost or a prepaid shipping label then it would still send it regular mail. I could not order the prepaid shipping label via the link that was sent in the PPR email, but I remember reading that someone was able to do it. Since I live close to the border I just drove over and purchased a xpresspost from the post office. Any update or are you still waiting it out before they reissue?
