A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

At least someone is working at CIC. Congratulation Feng for reaching this milestone. Hopefully everything will come to a positive end very soon. For those others still waiting, patience is virtue and our turn is on the fast track (HOV) lane!

So I got a updated doc, police cert, medical request recently. (yay!)

But the officer is requiring a CHINA police cert for my spouse who has never been to China more than 3 months. We also need HK certs, but that was expected because my spouse grew up in HK and I lived there for four years. When I ask for clarification about why my spouse needs a China cert, the response was because my spouse lived in HK. ??? I have sent another email explaining that China and HK are separate police forces. My spouse is worried and said I should stop sending emails or else we're going to labelled as troublemakers. Any one have advice for this situation? Is it a bad idea to ask for clarification?

The burden is on you: You might not have been the first person they have requested these documents from. The have the experience on the matter. Your file might be flagged awaiting the fulfillment of this request. Give them what they request for and you will be done. It might cost you more money but at least you would have a peace of mind knowing that they would not have another excuse to delay your process of immigration. That is my personal view.
