Am I the only one whose ecas has not been updated since last year? I finished medicals and updated my docs but my ecas still is on 'In Process' status. Does anyone know how can i get this updated?

Yes, I know. Send them an e-mail saying that you want to withdraw your application. Your ECAs status will change then.

Always here to help.

Ecas is not very reliable and is not a true reflection of the progress of your application as it is not promptly updated. Mine still shows RBVO after 2 years 7 months of waiting. Inside RBVO are the following three lines:

1. We received your application for permanent residence on .......

2. We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on ........ Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us. If we have sent the letter to the wrong address, please contact us.

3. Medical results have been received

Our medicals was updated on ecas 50 days after the exam. Once you are certain that your doctor sent the medicals (they sometimes delay in sending reports) and you have verified this from CIC and they have assured you they have received it, you shouldn't worry about ecas.

Best.

Hello Forum members,

Please, where is the best place to take the passport photos for ppr.Is it cvs, walgreens etc.I'm expecting ppr very soon,so I want to get the passport photos that will meet the cic requirement in terms of date behind the photos etc.

Local professional photography studio can be the best option but if you don't find any, then go to Walgreen (They have prefixed photo size for different countries, They have 2*2 photos for Canada in their system but I looked into their system and I found that UK passport photos specification matched with CIC's PPR specifications)
the specifications are given in below link: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/5445ETOC.asp#appendixB
Thanks,
