Did you send an email to CPP-Ottawa?
No I didn't. Not after medicals were received. I'm trying to keep emails to a minimum.

Hi guys,

Just to give you an update that we just received the medical request from Ottawa and our interview has been waived. :) They also requested for new FBI, police clearances and the RPRF to be paid all at the same time. Do you guys have the similar experience to do all these at the same time? We were given 60 days to finish everything. Hopefully that everything will go smoothly from here. The long wait is worth it I guess...

Congratulations!
Got the same thing only that they did not ask for FBI clearances.

Crazyberns,
They asked me for the same. FBI Police clearance took 8 weeks so you better apply for the PCC as soon as you can.

Thanks,

Same here, I don't want to send too many emails. Our status still haven't changed with the line ' medicals have been received' and I haven't sent email yet. Maybe will send them an email the next week if don't hear anything.

Hello all,

This morning I received an email from CIC asking for proof of funds and IM5559, "Details of Military Service".
They have asked me to submit the requested docs to CPP Otawa and have provided a mailing address.
I scanned the docs and sent them via email. Any experience with similar situation?
By the way my case analyst ID is: DB00204.

Thanks

Hi ;
I have the same visa officer, that is why we have the same order in getting medical and other issues. Officer asked us for updated documents(many forms in cic such as IMM...) and also bank statement, my situation ( certificate of enrollment at the university) and my husbands situation ( a letter from his employer) 2.5 months after our medical, we sent these things by regular post, then after like 1 month, again this officer asked for my husbands CV and list of publication, because he is doing a PhD (part time). and I am still waiting for PPR !
My suggestion for you is that, if you are a PhD student send them your list of publication and last CV and name of your previous and current supervisors right now.

Is there any update from visa officer MM1603 or is he/she is sleeping. I did my medicals 4 months ago and medical received line were added three months ago and still there is no PPR yet.

No update yet! I did my medicals almost 5 months ago!!!
This officer (DB00204) is strange, s/he first sends MR, then asks for update documents, then for cv and list of publications, and then goes to sleep..... there is a 2,3 months gap between each activity and the next one. I guess next time s/he will ask me to go to apply for a study permit, because my case is going upside down!

Hello Bahar,
Thanks for your reply and useful advice. Do they accept scanned copies of documents or shall I mail them?
I emailed the scanned copies of the docs and asked if that would be OK.
I hope I get an answer from the officer. Have you corresponded with this officer?

Best,

Thank you for your prediction. I do hope it goes as you predicted, but who knows..... with all the different procedures in each case, it is hard to predict. Bahar and I have the same visa officer, and Bahar has been waiting for a loooooong time after her DR and MR.
Hope is what keeps us strong.
Let's stay full of hope. Our turn will come.....

Cheers

Best,
I would recommend you to send them the original documents via regular mail. All my friend who were asked for update documents, did the same. In the email I received under the name of "documents required" from DB00204, it is clarified like this:
All documents must be accompanied by English or French translations. When original documents are requested, notarised documents are not acceptable. If you are unable to provide any or all of the requested documents/information, please explain why they are not available.

cheers

db00204 is slow

oh my god~!!
